100% yeah. I've no doubt DCL will know its unacceptable for him to be 20 or so games without a goal. The defenders are doing their part. We've something like the 4th or so best defence in the league. Problem is, like any position, there'll be games when they're not as on it. If the attackers aren't doing their part, we're fucked. Scoring has been our achilles heel for a good few years now.

Oh shit yeah, the passing. It's fuckin woeful. I agree. We look a shit tonne better when we play with pace with more straight forward balls...on the floor! When We try to slow it down, play short balls, we do it too slowly and quickly get closed down. We don't have players with an abundance of skill to get out of tight closed down spaces. Go back to the first few months of the season...we were playing with pace. It worked and was good to watch.

Like any manager on a shite run, deserves his scrutiny. But fair play to him in his post match interview, he wasn't hiding and acknowledged he was tired of saying the same old same around converting chances etc. He knows, and owned, that it's up to him and his coaches.

Fuckin hell. Didn't expect that. I said after the last game that these lads need to a confidence boost from somewhere. They've got to take the responsibility on for that themselves too. Alongside that, Dyche needs to be more ambitious with our play at home. We look so much better when we move quickly and go at it. If we want to win, bring on the likes of Dobin and Chimitti when we're drawing. Don't wait until we're losing. I know we have a paper thin squad, but the likes of Dobin will never make an impact without actual minutes...and I only mean in place of players who game after game aren't doing the business.

This is where I understand the frustration with Dyche. We're 1-1 at home. Keep it as it is rather than go for a win. 2-1 down...now bring on more attacking players to hope for a draw.

That penalty. Fuck sake. The camera was on Beto for ages. At night point did he give the impression of being confident and comfortable taking it. Then hits it with 10% power. Perfect end to a frustrating first half.

I don't think it's too surprising that Beto gets the nod. DCL is on a horrid run and has been as guilty as anyone of missing chances. Let Beto batter the defence then bring DCL on when they're all bruised! Other than that...not far off our strongest 11. Arguments can be made about Godfrey I guess. To be honest, not arsed about the petty stuff. Like everyone...just want the win!!!

Was it not something to do with the structure of interest payments for the cost of the stadium? Was there not some sort of rule shift during 22/23 that basically meant we had to account for interest payments on the stadium money (because it was 'internal' money?), whereas if we had taken a loan from a bank, we would have been OK? That was the chat going round after the original verdict anyway. I'm not great with the official wording though!!!

You shouldn't be getting punished again if it's based mainly on a single year, which I think it is. Let's say a club, over 3 years, is sound for the first 2 of those years. Then the owner goes nuclear, so spends like fuck in the 3rd year. If that 3rd year stays being 'the one', you get done for another 3 seasons. Each season, losing points and places in the league...therefore losing more money. They've just got no fucking clue how to apply it logically. Hence, they're changing it next season.

Can only hope I suppose. 777 seem pretty tricky. I've often found it difficult to believe that only the likes of 777 are interested. With the stadium, you'd expect 'someone' of better reputation to be interested. The only thing I can think of is that the financial set up at the club was/is such a mess that only 777 have been dumb enough to put a foot forward. I've also thought along the lines of wondering, controversially, whether the passing of BK changes the landscape at all?
