Yeah. And I think as time is going on its becoming clearer that Dyche first wanted to solidify us. Secure our place in Prem. Get the fundamental basics nailed on. Then start 'allowing' the players to become more expressive and expansive. I really, really like how these players go about their business. How often in the past several years have we still appreciated the players after a loss? Yet we're doing it more regular now.

No shame in that performance Considering we lost, that was an enjoyable watch. Remember lads...at this point last year, at 2 down that quickly, heads would have been down and out.

Don't expect too much today tbh. Although Spurs form has been poor recently. Bit gutted for Beto not to start. As much as I like DCL, he ain't scoring (questions about service tbh). At the same time, DCL does run defenders ragged ready for Beto to mow through them, haha. In an ideal world, it would be good to see them both up there. I think they'll be an 'old school' nightmare for defenders. More so as most defenders are used to little 'fake' strikers these days.

This is the biggie for me. And with that the Evertonians are rallying behind the players. We'll lose plenty more times this season...but you know these players will be gutted when they lose and they'll do all they can to fix it. Polar opposites to what we've been seeing these past several years, where too many just didn't seem to give a fuck.

Give me 29 pass goals Dyche Ball anyday! Progress is constant. I think he'll be here for a while because I think we'll be buying on a shoestring for years to come. We had our big spending chance for years to come. Therefore, if we finish top 6 these days...its a massive achievement.

I can see the frustrations around a certain player, sometimes with subs, and maybe some stubbornness. BUT... What a fuckin job he's doing. And, no, I'm not just saying this now. I said similar things repeatedly over time. He is exactly what we have needed after the last several years. Mostly, I enjoy watching us play. Then I look in disbelief at how little possession we have. Because it rarely feels that way. Let's be honest. The only thing that has stopped us from being 9 - 12 points better off is finishing. You guys have all said the good stuff already so I won't repeat it. The most pleasing thing I'm seeing though is the unity in the team. The way they celebrate together, throw themselves into tackles, clap each other, encourage. With that it's brought a much needed rekindling between fans and the players. This in itself is a massive win. I do agree that there MIGHT be a ceiling as to where he can take us but, in all honesty, with the ownership etc I think he'll take us beyond what we would have thought was realistic a year ago. We will progress with him though.
