  1. That's most management jobs in the Prem these days. Which I think is a shame.
  2. I think it is. As in, he's seen as too 'inferior' for this club. Our football is way better under him than it was under Ancelotti. But Ancelotti was a name suited to our museum. So that was OK. It's the same as whenever Howe was linked to us. 'Pah, he's only managed Bournemouth. Too small for us....' Replace Bournemouth with Burnley...
  3. I think he gets an unfair amount of stick by a section of our fans. If I'm honest, there's an element of snobbery at play .
  4. Was gonna say, we all know there are murky deals behind the scenes that are quite literally handicapping this club. Anybody that seems to have a sniff at us, runs a bloody mile! There must be some very dodgy contracts in the financials at this club.
  5. You've lost the plot. Last night I was reading the comments here. Honestly, I've never seen anyone on here tie themselves in knots as much as you have. Mad bastard
  6. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/you-didnt-want-train-sean-27659744?int_source=amp_continue_reading&int_medium=amp&int_campaign=continue_reading_button#amp-readmore-target I think its plain that some just want anything they can to hit Dyche with. I sat and read all these comments last night. It's a shame bias blinds us to an obvious problem. For years we've bemoaned that players don't show enough heart, don't play for the shirt, lack discipline, treat the club like shit, bad culture etc etc. Yet, when it suits, a bad apple becomes OK.
  7. Was thinking the same! I guess wages for Hazard and Ramos will be daft though. I would have thought both would be in Saudi.
  8. Sergio Ramos. Must be some names from this list we can bring in 'just in case'... https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/vertragslosespieler
  9. Yeah. I think the overall starting 11 is stronger and more balanced. Squad depth is a concern, but that's the shit position we're in. The wage bill and bank balance needed to be better, more so if we want to attract investment. Iwobi is the only one to go that is a regular. What we all need to understand with that one is its pure business. We've lost so many players on free's after signing them for 20, 30, 40 mill...thats really stung us for FFP. Getting around 20mill for Iwobi astute by our recent standards. We do need that cash injection though. We really can't lose anyone else come January.
  10. How much did he earn? Proper unlucky with injuries etc. One of our many wastes of money.
  11. Somebody once said... You do know things can change right? Football is a fast moving business.
  12. It's just a great fee for someone who is intending to leave us for free in 9 or 10 months
  13. No no, alls good bud. I come in peace! I think I'm still hoping something happens tonight! I think both sides of the 'Good Window' - 'Bad Window' will have valid points. Numbers wise we're no better off. But the squad feels a bit better. I think. Maybe.
  14. It doesn't matter how many we lost, its who we lost. Most of the players gone where no where our squad, never mind starting 11.
  15. Yeah, tbh even if no one else comes in, we've still shifted on some players that won't feature. Something like a Gnoto would make it a belter. What we can say, so far, is that all the transfers make sense. And its been a long time since we've been able to say that!
  16. Yeah, as soon as I seem that fee the whole article was rubbish for me.
  17. I don't think I'll ever be as glad to see a 1-0 lead being defended with all 11 players behind the ball...in fact, just taking the lead will make me all fluttery inside. These small things we used to take for granted
  18. Good move for the lad that. Leicester are a decent club. Fair play to him for having the ambition to seek out first team footy. One to keep an eye on.
  19. Forgot about Dele! If he can kick on, even at 75% of his previous best, that in itself is like a new exciting signing. We could, potentially, have a decent front line that will help steer us away from the bottom 3. I think many of us believe/know that having the ability to score goals will ease the pressure on the backline. It'll allow us to actually take a lead and defend it in the last 10 - 15minutes...such a beautiful scenario
  20. Have we still got Gbamin and Gomes to go? Can't see either of those 2 featuring. If we can get a tidy fee for Iwobi, that has to happen. Only because of his contract. We've lost enough players on a free! Grey is clearly unfancied. Cannon. Respect the lad if he wants to go play first team football. That's 5 out? Sounds scary but only 1 is actually playing a part in the squad just now. So long as it opens the door for others to come in. Plus a nicely reduced wage bill.
  21. Be a class signing. He's stalled at City due to lack of games but was brill at Leeds, and for England during whatever tournament it was a couple of years ago.
  22. And you're right in what you're saying. However, what I'm reading isn't people getting excited. It's just simply giving a bit of credit to a player who came on and helped us out massively. Both Gana and Beto helped us get that result. So a nice 'cheers lads' is exactly what it says on the tin.
