Much needed

Not been on all week, too busy but also...like you all...fucked off that we are still THAT Everton. Like many of you, deep down I had a horrible gut feeling we'd fuck up against Luton. Because that's been us for several years now. We get complacent far too easily. We all do. Today has to be a win. Nothing else. I'm sure there's been plenty said about Dyche. Maybe rightly so. Today he needs this win. To be 5 league games in at home, without a win against lowly opposition bar one, will be unacceptable. If those players genuinely give even a small fuck about the club and their own professionalism, they'll be fucking fuming from last week and come out like randy bulls in a field full of virgin cows. UTFT!

Another confidence booster

I think we've known this for a good few years now. Nobody should be surprised by any media outlets witting this stuff.

Always been a fan of his. If he stays fit, it'll make a massive difference for us. It's just that...well...generally, unfortunately...when players have a history of the injuries he has had, it doesn't tend to be long before they have another.

Good performance that got what it deserved. Pleased that it's not an isolated performance this season. We all (mostly!) know that we deserve 6-8 points more. Get some belief in there and crack on with what is overall decent football to watch

I only follow football because of Everton. The game bores the shit out of me these days. VAR being a real tipping point...no issue with using technology but how they've gone about applying it is absolutely fuckin abysmal. That on top of the lack of oomph in the game now. Was just watching a clip of Wimbledon vs United in about 93/94. Superb!

Unfair criticism of him just now. The team, in my opinion, is now shaped really well (in context to where we have been!) to both create and score goals. If that doesn't happen, then it's fair enough to call him out. We are, at the end of the day, a bottom third team. We'll see more shit than good no matter who is manager. I personally think he knows what he wants to do and is working towards that. He's never going to set the world on fire and give us all errections but if he can give us a bit of security, it's job done.

Unlike the other home games, we deserved to lose that one. Arsenal look are so fluid and quick, hence they challenge for the title. We've looked a lot better than this this season. We were so bad with the basic balls today. Hopefully we get back to creating all those chances

To be fair to him, it does seem that he's being as transparent as possible. A bit of honesty around the place, even if it's not what we want to hear in an ideal world, is much needed these days.

Fuck sake. Mind, no surprise. Did anyone ever believe that, after all the decisions in these last 7 or so years, we'd be sold with the best interests of the club in mind? It's sad that we're now dragged into this model of ownership but maybe I/we are behind the times. I'd never begrudge people making profit. So long as there is a benefit all round. In this case, if the club is stabilised, becomes commercially sound and competitive on the pitch, then feel free to take a profit. We'll see what happens. But I'm feeling very sceptical.
