This is the thing, Howard, Neville and Gibson have great attitudes and seem to be very professional in the way they handle themselves. The majority of these are the opposite. Possibly Moyes getting rid of he trouble makers. Agreed Nani and Anderson would be worth a shout. I reckon Anderson if he's going for cheap would make a great addition to the squad.

So we've had some reasonably decent signings from Man U in recent years, Howard, Gibson, Saha, Neville... who would you take from the players they are supposed to be getting shot of, presumably for a bargain ala Gibson? This may all be paper-talk but none of the list are exactly regular first-teamers.

Nani - 26
Lindegaard - 29
Anderson - 25
Fabio - 23
Bebe - 23
Macheda - 21
Tunnicliffe - 20
Wootton - 21

Serious? The clause expires so we don't get stung on the last day of the window. If anyone wants him they have to get him by 14th August. If they want him they will, if they don't they won't.
Or, someone actually makes an offer next season for below the clause amount and BK sees the dollar signs. I wonder what figure BK/RM actually values Fellaini at? For all we know they might be happy to sell him for under the clause amount.
-
If it is true that his release cause expires soon, I think that's a bad thing. We wouldn't be in a win-win situation anymore.

Wow, "Baines is priced as low as 1/8 on with one bookmaker to be a Red Devils player after the summer transfer window shuts."
Might be worth laying those odds!
-
Apologies, thought he was 32/33. As you were!
-
I'd imagine we would only sign him on a 1 year contract surely? Unless that was Moyes's rules and not BK's regarding not giving over 30s any more than 1 year at a time...

I don't mind the new kit... and also didn't mind the new badge. But having a look at the latest 'kids' kits with no sponsor markings, just the badge looks a bit off.
Probably can't promote alcohol on shirts designed for under 18's?

I'm sure a lot of people want to join Everton, doesn't mean we're going to sign them. I'm sure if we do sign him then it will be for the right amount. Bill's not one for splashing unjustified cash.

David Moyes has brought three of his Everton backroom staff to Manchester United, including the appointment of Steve Round as assistant manager.
The new Old Trafford boss, who officially took charge on Monday, has also brought in goalkeeping coach Chris Woods and Jimmy Lumsden as coach.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, his assistant manager Mike Phelan and goalkeeping coach Eric Steele left.
First-team coach Rene Meulensteen has also moved on.

Just saw in the Star MOYES MOVES IN FOR BALE and then realised Moyes has moved on. Happened too many times it's not funny anymore :shaking fist:

That's debaitable

Wasn't aware Hibbert had an interest in this sport but you can't dispute it.
You make me laugh. Why would anyone want to dispute it?
That's all I have to say on the matter.
-
It's not really "from" BBC Sport, they're just posting the link that the Daily Fail have reported.

Still a little upset about how he believes he was treated when Everton let him go, but as its a hell of a lot different to the set up then it shouldn't be an issue.
What happened when we let him go? Never came across that story tbh
-
If we did get 30m I wouldn't like to see us splash it all in one go. Would be good to have some in the kitty if we need reinforcements in January.
-
How frustrating must it be for Moyes who has had to rely on player sales to fund new players, if Martinez is given some cash to buy new players... He's wanted a kitty for years and we only get one when he leaves

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how all of our players react to a new system/style. I don't think we can look to sell on any of our existing players including Jelavic until the Jan window. I think this summer window will just be a case of replacing any players that end up being poached by other teams.
-
People may disagree with me, but I'm not sure that Jelavic has been given enough of a chance this season. He wasn't up to last season's standards at the beginning of the season, so he was rested/put on the bench in place of Anichebe. I might be wrong but he wasn't given a decent run of games after that at all, just subbed a few times but I can't remember the last time he played 2 or 3 full games back to back. I know it's hard to play someone that's out of form but surely that's the only way he'll get his confidence back?
3-4 players wanted, but who are your choices?

I think we've improved without a doubt.
Gone:
Neville
Hitzlsperger
Mucha
Incoming:
Alcaraz

He has to fill the squad because the squad fillers have left.
