Finn balor
What do we all think? Can't see us going there and turning them over but we might hold them and do them on pens. Mind you when was the last time we won a shoot out?

Fatboyquim
0-0 with the blues (Everton) going through on pens after a nailing biting match. At least Joey wont be taking any spot kicks !!
GoldfishMemory
Sh*t never thought about that, extra time & pens iv got work the next day proberbly wont get home til silly o'clock
Randomness
if we own chelsea like we have done in the last two games in the first half, then us going through in 90 minutes soley depends on us getting a 2nd goal. pitch at stamford is horrible so ossy will have to get Wide to get decent balls for beattie. Zed
Should be good, the two form teams of the prem playing each other Traditionaly, we aint good with pens, so lets hope we can sneak a goal Come on beattie, show us what your made of
MikeO
....when was the last time we won a shoot out? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...er...last season...Bristol City. Short memory Trev?! I've got a good feeling about Wednesday. You could see Chelski were really up for yesterday and they've got Barcelona coming soon, I can see them not being 100% and if we play at our best we could just do it... scouse
We will have to be at our best, I just cant see us getting past them though, they want to be the first team to win the FA at the new wembly (tho it may not be ready) im going for 1-0 to them Cole to score. Adam
I am going for a 1 nil to Chelski as well. Said before we played them in thr first game that I would settle losing for 6 points out of the next 2 league matches and I still stand by that. Think this game is going to take a lot out of us. 4-5-1 formation with the same team as against the mancs.
Randomness
i reckon its our duty to kill cup tie dreams, we destroyed chelsea's by knocking millwall, now lets kill colchesters by knocking out chelsea.

irishtoffee
Does anybody know if Ferrari is fit again. Need him to replace Stubbs.
Adam
Ferrari has a chance of playing according to reports today. Hope so which means that will only be one change then with Ferrari for Stubbs. Also if he is back then it means that Yobo won't have to be rushed back into the squad if needed. RuffRob
http://advfn.oddschecker.com/advfn/mode/f/...537x/sid/824952 Our fav score - 1-0 is at a massive 22/1 - We have done well against them in the last two game (both at home mind you). On paper they will beat us tommorow night - but 22/1 to nick a 1-0. I am going to have a few quid on that. They have not lost in normal time for an age - so it may be time tommorow. BlueBird
As Colchester storm to the top of their league a part of me thinks a loss to Chelsea could be a blessing. The other part thinks that if we win this game we will get to the final!!

RuffRob
Stubbs is cup ties - but Ferrari should be back. Otherwise I would agree. Don't know why - but I have a strange feeling we could go through tonight. I really think the boys will fight tooth and nail for a win. KillaGTiR
should be a great game to watch but i cant see us winning..... only way i see is if we nick one and hold off for the rest of the match and counter attack!

RuffRob
to be honest the bookies are basically giving us no chance - 10/1 for a win. But some of the odds quoted above are worth a punt, considering the form we are in, the fact Chelsea have had to come back at us twice already this season from 1-0, our history of 1-0 wins. 160/1 for 1-0 and Beattie to score the goal - I am sure if this game was played 160 times - you would get the above 6 or more time. Although an outside bet - they are very good odds for a punt.
Raccyboy
got a bad feeling that this one will be over as a contest after 1/2 an hour with them going 2-0 up by then.........then a 3rd late on........WILL BE THRILLED TO BE WRONG OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!
