Louis Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 He's just confirmed it on CityTalk.. Can you see him doing a job at Everton? Quote
Bill Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I'm sure if he gets all his certificates he would do a good job, I'm not sure that DM would take him on tho, he might have to go to the lower leagues to earn his stripes. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I'd hope he wouldn't be a coach here tbh. Not sure why but I've never liked him all that much Quote
Jimmy the blue Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I know Alan well, he is a smashing bloke and a life long blue. If there is a place available for him in the backroom Moyes will have him as he was his type of player and a model pro otherwise Derby would have him back in a support role Quote
StevO Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 he was a natural defender, if he can teach then im sure he'd be a great coach. Quote

Top professional and would be good role model for the youth team anyway. Quote
jamiemaher85 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I'd take him here as a defensive coach, no doubt. He always had a very good effect on the defense, constantly talking and reassuring. I think he has really helped mold Yobo into a very good defender. I would love him here as a defensive coach, but other than that I don't think he'd be that great. Quote

StevO Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 working with the academy and reserves, fuck that, get him working with the first team. actually, you busy at the weekend? i think we got a job for you on saturday Quote
Jimmy the blue Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 As I said earlier I know Stubbsy well, played golf with him quite a few times. He will get that defence sorted, I wouldn't be surprised if Moyes made that his first job before he starts with the reserves, he will know instinctively who is getting it wrong, and he'll tell them Quote
marcopaulo Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 great to see him back where he belongs and hopefully can give that defence the kick up the arse they need! Quote
MikeO Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 "I am going to be working mainly with Taff (Andy Holden, reserve team manager) with the reserves. I might be doing bits watching the under 18s and under 16s as well. "It's a perfect move. It's a great opportunity to get my foot on the bottom of the ladder. I am at the bottom working my way up." Having taken up his role this week, Stubbs explained that he has been warmly welcomed back into the fold at Finch Farm. "I am really looking forward to it," he continued, "It's going to be a different challenge for me. "The lads have had the usual banter; Ossie said he didn't realise we had a new kitman! But it's all quietened down now and it's great to be back amongst them." Quote
