Maghull70
I see with the Champs League draw that Man Utd are playing their 2nd leg away in Portugal midweek before the FA Cup semi. That surely is a good news for us, isnt it?????. I hope Porto kick 'em off the field
MikeO
Just gotta hope they don't kill it off in the first leg at OT .
Guest efctaxi
I'd rather they were playing the CL a few days after our match to be truthful . More chance of them resting players , though to be honest , it's the guys who never get a game who are normally up for it , so might be best to play their best team and hope they are over confident . toffee77
Scholes out as well. Alot more confident than I was 8 days ago.

Romey 1878
The only advantage we have is that it's not being played now. We have time to get a bit of form bac. Although, they do too I suppose.
aaron
Will Rooney be suspended for it? I fucking hope so.
Sprooly
is it 3 additional games for a red card? because we are the 3rd game?
StevO
i think rooney just gets one game for two yellows
Romey 1878
i think rooney just gets one game for two yellows He'll probably get added games to the ban because he didn't leave the pitch but proceeded to get in the ref's face. aaron
thats what i was wondering mark, two yellows is just a one match ban but his antics after it could mean a longer suspension.

He should get extra games out but the FA are a bunch of spineless bastards.

dark
Alot more confident than I was 8 days ago. Getting more confident as the games go on. I'm unsure what ban means what but they do have Vidic, Scholes and Rooney out at least for the trip to Aston Villa. Rooney may be banned like people have said for punching the corner flag and generally making a tit of himself. The fact is that slowly our chances of a win are creeping up and up. They are now under more pressure from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea and have to deal with two tricky games against Porto in the Champions League. We can definatly win this game and need to go in with that mentallity, we've beaten Liverpool who are just a few points behind now. Based on the facts we have a good chance of getting something. Having said that no-one said it was easy. Also: What was Rooney's second card for? I missed MOTD and can't really see because of the quality of YouTube videos, did he throw the ball away or something?
StevO
it was sort of like he threw the ball at the ref, or threw it away. hard to judge, but one of them two from looking at it

"In relation to the incident when he punched the corner flag, the referee did not see that and we have written to Wayne Rooney reminding him of his responsibilities." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/7960276.stm
