jamiemaher85
I like him, but not sure he is what we need right now. But at the right price I wouldn't really have a problem seeing him here. Though considering Villa just lost Barry I would be very surprised if they let Reo Cocker go as well.
Everton_Worshiper
No way...was horrified when we were linked with him originally, glad Villa bought him.
The Boy
No way...was horrified when we were linked with him originally, glad Villa bought him. Agree with Everton_Worshiper ..... didn;t want him the first time and he has shown nothing to say he would make a big impact here. Had lots of potential, but my West Ham mates say he was always a bit "big" on himself. Got his move to villa, spent most of the season on the bench. Bit like Sidwell. No thanks

scouse
Rated him before he left to join Villa, not sure if it is a step forward for us at this stage
CraccerC
i don't know why people think e's flopped at villa, they've been playing him at right back for periods and i don't think it's a coincidence how well they were doing when he was in the middle, he allows the attacking minded players to go for it. One player doesn't improve a team. He was on the fringes of England at West Ham, now he is not even mentioned. Never even mentioned in his play for Villa last season. CraccerC
did you watch villa much though? he was shifted all around he played plenty of games at fullback.
Memmaclub
I think in comparison to cana/m'bia etc he would be a reasonable signing. Youngish DM can play right back and a decent prem experience we could do alot worse and with both him and barry gone from villa he would definatly weeken their side. Matt
if we have any money to sign a midfielder it should be on a RWinger or tying Pienaar down, its that simple.
