Romey 1878
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/blues-announce-season-ticket-prices.html I'm a little pissed off about these "premium games" tbh. It's not like I all of a sudden get a more comfortable seat just because we're playing Manure, the shite or City . £455, not sure where I'm going to find it tbh. Bill
Thats lower bullens or lower gladys Mark £455, that would cost me £293.
Romey 1878
And I sit in the Lower Gwladys Bill, so £455 for me or £475 if I go the direct debit route, which I think I'll have to.
MikeO
All sounds a bit odd to me. As I understand it they're justifying a £17 rise by saying that there are six premium games next season (how many were there this?). To me individual game pricing should be totally irrelevant when it come to season ticket pricing....bit shabby I think. Or am I misunderstanding it? Romey 1878
There haven't been premium games since 2000/01 I think it says in the article.
duncanmckenzieismagic
I think the prices are quite reasonable to be honestand mines £543! I am also happy that I can bang it onto my credit card interest free for 6 months
craigb
Yeah i think the prices are quite reasonable also, with everything taken into account
ftaylor
As an American, unable to see any matches live, I thank you gents for funding our transfer kitty!
Romey 1878
As an American, unable to see any matches live, I thank you gents for funding our transfer kitty! You're joking right? We'll be selling a player to do that, just like the past few seasons! Although, we probably only need to bring Donovan in (if possible) so it should only cost us someone like Yobo. MikeO
There haven't been premium games since 2000/01 I think it says in the article. Liverpool and United were premium games this season....£4.00 extra per ticket.
rubecula
*sigh* I still have my 1966 Bullens Stand season ticket in the drawer as a souvenier (sp) it cost £9/0/0. I always said that if it ever reached £10 it would be too expensive.
Romey 1878
Liverpool and United were premium games this season....£4.00 extra per ticket. Bit of a misleading article then?
MikeO
Bit of a misleading article then? "A key part of next season's ticket pricing structure is the re-introduction of six premium fixtures. This was in place for the 2000/01 Season at an additional cost of £18. Ten years later we will return to a premium on six fixtures but at a reduced cost of £17." I guess what they're saying is that in recent years they've not taken account of the inclusion of premium games when working out the prices, and that the last time they did that (in 00/01) it resulted in the prices being £18 more than they would otherwise have been....an extra £3 for each game. This time they're only charging an extra £2.83 for each premium game . That's the only way I can make sense of it....but it's a pointless and confusing bit of waffle and justification if you ask me (I'd say "spin" but I hate the use of the word in that context ).
