found this on a dutch site (http://www.soccernews.nl/news/95336), translated as:

Cambuur talent Schepers Bob sees his apprenticeship in England at Everton as "the chance of my life . " The level in England is much higher than in the Netherlands and Schepers will continue to develop themselves .

That development of the eighteen -year-old striker is not as expected . " For me , I stopped this year . I 've played well enough this year . I have to play much next season , preferably at a high level , "said Schepers . The left-footed player has a contract until 2012 and came to SC Cambuur to seven games in the Jupiler League.

Earlier it was announced in July that Schepers club Liverpool will visit with his parents and agent . Then travels to Scotland Leeuwardenaar off with the second team Everton for a training camp . It will then be viewed or Schepers comes out with the club from the Premier League.

To avoid confusion, that last paragraph says : "Earlier it was announced that Schepers will visit the club from Liverpool (Everton) in July with his parents and manager. Next he'll go to Scotland to join Everton players in a training camp. Afterwards, both sides will see if they can agree to terms."

Don't know the player but that article would suggest we have a good chance at signing him.

From Wiki, but you take wiki with a pinch of salt.

In the 2010 Summer Transfer window, English Premier League club Everton F.C. tracked Schepers and arranged a trial for him. He started the Everton youth/reserve pre-season match against Clyde. Bob is widely tipped to be the next Robben[8] :)

A young Everton side featuring a couple of trialists, Bob Schepers and late sub Stefan(?) Savic, held their Scottish hosts to a 2-2 draw in this Reserves/Under-18 friendly match. Clyde took the lead inside two minutes through McCusker firing a diagonal drive low into the far corner with Everton Keeper Adam Davies rooted to the spot. Everton should have been level within a minute when James Vaughan blasted tamely wide. Everton equalized when João Silva's shot was parried only for Ross Barkley to sidefoot home. The home side hit back when Dingwall scored from eight yards but Vaughan equalised off a pass from Hope Akpan on 64 minutes. After 13 second half subs Nathan Craig came closest to a winner for Everton with a cheeky lobbed effort from 30 yards.
