inertia8 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 (edited) We'll be seeing Tim in action against T-How and Landon Donovan in about 28.5hrs time Mind you, those freaking vuvezelas were annoying for the Aus v Denmark game... can't imagine how shitful they'll be in the stadiums.. atleast most of us can reach for the remote control.. what about the fans inside the stadium? Sheeeeeedy Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 And what's with the giant cue balls to his right?? Very odd pic. Apparently according to this World Cup article he is a doubt for the Germany game with an elbow injury. Considering he is the only Oz player capable of scoring a goal (a permanently crocked Harry Kewell aside) I'm sure he will make the game, even if half fit. Quote
Matt Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 maybe its a response to the double-teaming the germans are supposedly going to be doing. If they think he has a bad neck, maybe it will lower their guard a bit? Quote
BrotherEstapol Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1008191/Cahill-shattered-by-send-off Gutted... Quote
nesta2003 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Fucking disgracefull decision! Probably wont see him again at the finals because of it as well! Feel sorry for the Aussies. Quote
marcopaulo Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 poor lad he looked so gutted fuckin disgrace it was...ruined what is probably his last shot at a major competition! refs are no different anywhere else they're all shite! Quote
Romey 1878 Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Even Schweinsteiger said it wasn't a red. I couldn't believe he gave a red for what was a nothing challenge, poor Timmy. Quote
chicagoblue Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Shame for the group and the tournament really, never mind the man himself.. Quote
Sheeeeeedy Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 The Aussies struggle for goals WITH Cahill in the side so how they are supposed to score enough to beat Ghana without him I don't know. I thought it was a bad tackle but it was never a red card. It is such a shame that card happy refs have the power to wreck pinnacle moments in players' careers like that. Quote
Matt Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 (edited) werent we supposed to find out if his ban would be reduced to 1 game yesterday? anyone heard anything? found this: http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2010/06/16/australia-and-everton-fc-star-tim-cahill-made-to-sweat-on-fifa-red-card-ruling-92534-26660169/ Edited June 16, 2010 by galacticaracnid Quote
Romey 1878 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Hopefully Cahill will get the best possible news, if that's ended his World Cup then it's a disgrace. Quote
Matt Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 (edited) http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/article?contentId=1981050 1 match ban, still a joke.... http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2010/06/17/cahill-1-game-ban-only Edited June 17, 2010 by galacticaracnid Quote
