Bailey
We need Cahill, Beckford or Yakubu up front to work with Saha. They're pressing our midfielders and forcing sloppy passes and when we do get a direct ball to Saha he has 2 defenders on him and he can't flick it on. I bet what happens is that we stick Yakubu up along side Saha, we play long ball, completely bypass our midfield, we may create the odd chance through persistence but our the midfielders will offer nothing going forward, or help out the defence. I would stick Yakubu on for Saha, bring Rodwell on for Neville/Hibbert and get Rodders to play off Yakubu, putting in work defensively but also breaking quickly to support Yakubu. Osman and Arteta are good enough to cover the midfield like they did against Utd & Chelsea. Bringing Felli on for one of them wouldnt be a bad option either We have a good enough midfield to dominate more or less any team going when we get it right! Bailey
Sounds like the randomest substitutions Iv ever seen?! I wouldnt mind this in the early pre-season games, but the last one isnt the time to be experimenting imo...

MikeO
Might not be a bad thing getting a bit of a reality check pre-next week-end. Overconfidence may have been settling in.
