smeghead1
In that article Moyes states if i only have a small ammount to spend i know where its going! Do you think that means we wont be selling a big name then? Or is it the old Scots way of being a tight wad?

Hafnia
This is one of the reasons that people should not take the view that Moyes can sell big and buy cheap forever. Nearly all the clubs have massive scouting networks and the chances of getting a Tim Cahill, Seamus Coleman etc is becoming tougher. I speak regularly to someone who works at Crewe's academy - he is a massive Evertonian, and while he says Evertons network of spotting young talent is top notch - all the other clubs are well on the ball. There is no quality player above the age of 11 that most clubs do not know about, it's whether they take the chance and get in there first. Sourcing the next Wayne Rooney, Jack Wilshire etc is the one way clubs can keep the heads above water without needing to spend money that places them in further debt.
