We have many firsts to our name, but more than that we have a sense of togetherness that transends other things. We have greatness in our past, and hopefully we have greatness in our future. We remember great times and sad, and for those times we don't remember, we have our fathers, grandfathers and even great grandfathers to regale us with the stories. Players who defined teams, teams that defined the fans ambition.. Mediocrity would never be entertained in those era's - unfortunately that is what is happening, some people are expecting us to accept mediocrity, some fans are not old enough to understand that what we have now is not good enough, improvement isn't success. I like this little bit from wiki about the church "Imaginative spectators would climb the church and watch a football game from the rooftop however they have now been deterred from doing so with the installation of security measures such as barbed wire and anti-climb paint.
