Bill
Think the goalie was Jimmy Clinton.
The Beard
Tommy Clinton must be in there, he was my mum and dads insurance man for years. He lived in Goodison Place before the Park End was re-constructed. My dad used to wind him up about a missed penalty in an FA Cup semi final when we where 4-0 down to Bolton and came back to 4-3. p.s I rang my dad to see who the keeper was them days, he reckons Harry Leland. Yeah thats him i thought the goalie was Clinton, its Harry Leyland. Tommy Clinton (fullback) missed a penalty in the 1953 FA Cup Semi Final against Bolton and we lost 4-3. Bolton themselves went on and lost 4-3 in the Stanley Mathews final.
