Blue4Ever
Hi Blues, With all Everton supporters hoping Arteta will play center mid next season will that mean either Nev or Valente leftback? My opinion id rather keep Arteta out on the wing which i think he suits more and gets more involed. What do yas think?
Jamo11
Valente defo brewy after a shakey start he was class after that hes not a typical foreigner scared of the cold or scared to tackle so yeah keep valente there.

StevO
arteta for the middle, nevilel is a squad player, valente left back no question at all total no brainer 35095[/snapback] its not a no brainer though is it? who do you play on the right? if neville is a squad player then who do you have in the middle? Areta and Cahill? it might be good going forward, but not strong enough in defence
Adams
Valnete without a doubt

EFC fan in oz
I'd play Osman on the wing with Arteta and Cahill in the centre and VDM if he's fit on the left. Definitly have Valente at left back though.
StevO
its not strong enough defensively
Trigger
Personaly I think the initial first team midfield will be VDM - Left Cahil - Centre Neville - Centre Arteta - Right Osman - Initialy on the bench. Davies - Initialy on the bench. Kilbane - (please god in another footbal team) - sorry - initialy on the bench. Expect this to change round as individuals dont perform or get injured. Romey 1878
Naysmith, i wouldnt even contemplate playing Pistone
Adams
Same ere but if naysmith goes then unless we sign another lb then looks like we ave got Pistone
StevO
imo Pistone is better than Naysmith. dont forget Pisto was one quarter of a very strong defence than finished 4th
Pat
Ide also play Pistone every time over G Naysmith.
thebluenose
pistone may not be the player valente is. but he is versatile and he can read the game miles better than nace. hes a much better player. i still cant believe smith replaced ball with nace. ball was a much better player
