Romey 1878
I bought the away shirt today at the Everton club shop and got McFadden on the back. I really like this shirt, it looks really good. I paid a visit to the old lady that is Goodison Park (she's beautiful isnt she?), and it struck me just how amazing our stadium is and how much I will miss it when we eventually leave. I was surprised at the emotion I felt looking at our stadium considering I havnt been to as many matches as some people. Anyway thats my rambling over
Mac
That's bollocks about how many times you've been mattering Mark. All it takes is once, first love is the deepest. I loved Everton before I had even noticed girls. ATB Mac
Romey 1878
Thats true enough Mac, but people who have been going for decades may feel they have more of an attachment to the place. It will be a very sad day when the bulldozers move in
GoldfishMemory
Goodison Park with the Gwladys Street in full swing cemented my love affair
Mac
When I first walked up the stairs and caught my first sight of Goodison, at the age of 5 it just blew me away, still does. One game or 600 games it still stirs up the same passion and devotion. Tara and Everton are the only two relationships I've been in where I didn't cheat. bluehuddo
Haven't seen a game there since end of the 82/83 season. Did a flying visit to the Uk in the early 90's only 2 days in Liverpool and had to blag my way so they would let me in. Great Sob story about being over from Oz for a few days and missing the place, they let me in straight away Am considerign doing a year back in the UK will try and make it for the 08/09 season, hopefully we will be seriously challenging then.
