The Times says Da Silva, the Brazilian midfield player, is set to complete his move to the club some 11 months after agreeing to sign. Da Silva has been on loan to Malaga because of a work permit problem, but is due to arrive at Goodison Park next month. will he or wont he be here in jan??? KillaGTiR
Anderson at Everton on Monday Anderson Da Silva will be at Goodison Park on Monday for a short trial in front of Everton boss Dave Moyes. The Brazilian signed forms with the Goodison Park club 18 months ago but was unable to play for them because he did not have an EC passport. However, the gifted South American is now qualified as a Spanish citizen and is coming for a test on his fitness next week ahead of what he hopes will be a full-time switch in the new year, says the Mirror. Anderson, 24, has not played for six months as he was left in limbo when Everton refused to pay the outstanding sum that was needed to make his deal permanent in the last transfer window. The Brazilian has spent the previous year on loan at Racing Santander but now hopes to prove to Moyes that he is worth taking on, with the Toffees due to pay an extra sum to Uruguayan side Nacional to make the move complete
java2001e
Anderson at Everton on Monday Anderson Da Silva will be at Goodison Park on Monday for a short trial in front of Everton boss Dave Moyes. i thought we'd already paid £700k for this guy? dont you have the trial before paying the money?
Romey 1878
The £700K didnt actually buy him, I think it was for some sort of rights (registration maybe?), so if we want him we will have to pay more.
StevO
it was for his rights, not for his registration
fcssl
I hope is he all he is made out to be...and not another high expectation, low realisation kind of player. We need a little bit of luck!
Guest fozzie
He could be pele for all we know but theres little doubt that its a massive cock up over this transfer and i hope whoever sorted it in the first place got his knuckles wrapped.
