Pat
Later in the football life discipline probs came. mostly due to the body not doing what the brain tells it. Frustration - lead to Yap, yap, yap & usually in the referee's ear. Got pinged for Crude words more than crude tackles. Though the infamous send off, we conceeded a free kick just out of the box, as a wall was forming someone screamed ( As they did) SIT ON THE BALL - so never one to be a smart ass, I parked me BUM on the ball. Both teams pissed em selves xept the man in black - Ungetlemanly Conduct. Got a cple weeks holiday for that stunt.

Dunny the Blue
I always used to play at right back in junior school and for some reason never continued it on through secondary, tried playin a bit last summer but had to stop with comin to uni, i think with a bit of practise i cud be a kind of pain in the arse forward like AJ but if im honest i hvnt played a great deal and need some experience, any tips would be useful? lol
Bill
Lots of training and get yourself Fit, if you can run around for 90 mins you'll be a pain in the arse to whoever you play against. And dont be afraid to throw yourself into a tackle.
CraccerC
never got a yellow card tht i can remember ... either clean or sent off
Mac
The best sending off I got, was an "Emlyn Hughes" type rugby tackle. By God he hit the floor like a pissed docker. All my reds were straight sending offs. ATB Mac

Pat
Whats the point in referees if you dont gob off @ them for 90. They get all the majors wrong anyway.

SimonButtle
Left wing/Striker.I have tbh and say i was actually quite good in my younger years....a brief history:Although born in the land of scouse i grew up in scotland, i was a bit of a loner and used to spend hours kicking a ball against the side wall of the house, resulting in big piles of those little stones everywhere. At the age of 12 along with 2 others from my school, i was were picked out to train with the mighty aberdeen fc, me and 1 of the others also tried out for dundee united, after about a 1 1/2 years i sadly was involved in quite a bad motorbike accident which led me to develop a medical condition, which as soon as the club found out what it was they dropped me straight away, as you can imagine i was heartbroken, my dreams were ended. The youth coach at aberdeen at the time said i had a 'Thunderous' left foot that was too strong for it's own good at times. I think the problem was, i was never that quick, i had the skills, tricks, flicks etc and was decent infront of goal but moved like a snail. I played on for a few years afterwards for some local junior and amatuer teams then quit football alltogether and moved to liverpool. It would be nice to play again though, we need a toffeetalk team to play one of those rs forums. I found out a few years back off one of the other lads i was with, that apparently the rs and manure had been to have a look at the possiblity of taking all three of us. john_webby
well in primary school i played in goal for my under 9's (i think) i played all across the midfield then moved back into centre defence for a few years then ended shifting to right back by the age of 16 then shifting between RB and RM the last time i played but hoping to start training a again and i'm on the look out for a new side to be honest

MikeO
missed me haha And me <_< Think I'll take my services elsewhere as I was looking for a regular first team place *tells agent to find a better suited club* No problem guys. I'll probably last approx seven minutes tops before I'm being sick by the corner flag...one of you can come on for me . I see myself more in the role of assisting Claire at the cheerleader auditions anyway (tough job but someone has to do it) .

Got some cunning ploys for my position as water boy 2. Such As : Viagra in Lickers Water Bottle to teach these young prix a thing or to about close man to man marking. Sickboy
I played RB & CB for the RAF a few times, Corners & free kicks were my thing, scored direct from a corner once. Haven't played for over a year and a half though. Also played in goal when i was in school.
