MikeO Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 If ever there was a "must win" this is it. Should be fairly straighforward if we play like we did against Arsenal and the first half against Villa (but is anything ever that simple for Everton?). Reckon we'll coast 4-1 if we can get an earlyish goal. Move us up into fifth place going into the week-end and put a bit of pressure on Spurs and Notlob....oh..AJx2, Lescott again and Faddy off the bench. Quote
Bill Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Confidence abounds, i'm going to be a bit more reserved and say 2-1 Arteta free kick, Johnson. Quote
TrueBlue Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Gonna go for a scrappy boring game that we'll just win 1-0 with a goal in 68th min by AJ Quote
xsaint Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 How about we tearing them apart at 4-0 ......three goals in the first half?......mmmm,,,,,, Quote
Romey 1878 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 2-1 to us. Not sure on the goal scorers but if Manny plays I reckon he could get one of them Quote
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 dont care waht happens aslong as we come out with 3 points Quote
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 haha it makes me laf when people are predicting the scores and the scorers fernandes all of a suden turns into a 20 goals a season player. loads of pople pick him lol il go for a solid 2-0 manny doube haha Quote
Dunny the Blue Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 2-0 we'll shit em!! AJ and Osman to get them!! Quote
Joe Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 2-0 as well but both goals from AJ. We have to be able to beat Fulham at home. I am happy the game is on tv here Quote
Adam Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Always worry about the games that everyone predicts us to win. We would be going into the game as favs and wouldn't surprise me if Fulham play for a draw. We at home which means we got to attack and they very capible of scoring on the break. I predicted the draw right against Villa (wrong score but still said draw) and I have a bad feeling about this game. Would like to think that Manny is back and can replace Osman or drop hibbo and put Neville at right back. Stay with the 4 4 2 formation and bring fad onto the bench in place of either naysmith or Valente. However if both fully fit along with Pistone then push Lescott into the centre back and drop stubbs. Howard, Neville, Yobo, Lescott, Pistone Osman, Manny, Carsley, Arteta Aj, Vaughen Think we might lose this. Think will be 2 v 1 down chasing the game and they will get a late goal. So going 3 v 1 with Pistone scoring for us Quote
Bill Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 ""So going 3 v 1 with Pistone scoring for us"" ... . Back to normal i see Adam, Been lost without Alessandro Pistone. Quote
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 If we beat fulham we can go 5th as non of the teams around us play on friday so with all 3 point witch we should be able to do we will go 5th on goal diffrece witch would be a huge thing and will take is right into the mix of the final push. carper Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Dont care how,as long as we win!2-0 the blues. Quote
Zed Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Looking forward to this one as I fly off on holiday early sat am. My mystic daughter said " Wouldnt it be nice if we won 4 nil like last time", I said "when" She ment when I took her to see Luton and we won 4-0 So there you go, get your bets on now, you heard it here first Quote
adamsmith69 Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 This game nearly always goes to the home team, i dont see this being a problem and am going for a 3-0 win, aj first hat-trick Quote
Adam Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Bad news is that Fernandes is out and not sure if will be back for the bolton game. Think this is bad news not so much for the Fulham game but think we need him for the bolton game as should go 4-5-1 Quote
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 I think moyes know we can do fulham on are own but we are going need him for bolton so he is taking no risk's Quote
Mac Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 No predictions, just want a win. I don't care how or who scores, but we have to win. Our GD will stand us in good stead, but I hate it when we have to start looking at other team's failures in order for us to progress. ATB Mac Quote

Our GD will stand us in good stead, but I hate it when we have to start looking at other team's failures in order for us to progress. ATB Mac I agree. We should be able to get 3 points at home. Fulham has been in bad form and it would be a huge disappointment to get either 0-1 point from them this year. I think the squad will be prepared and come out strong in the opening minutes. Almost like the Villa game. Quote
Bluetrip Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Coleman was on Sky News today saying a draw would be a good result for them. We should win this one which probably means it will be an uphill struggle all the way. I'm still going for 3 points 1-0 Johnson. Quote
thebluenose Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 vaughn starts again acording to nsno. hopefully hell score this game. hes getting a few games which can only be good for his confidence and development Quote
