The Football Association is expected to announce England manager Steve McClaren has been sacked at a news conference at 0945 GMT. The FA has been holding an emergency board meeting since 0830 GMT in London. Don't know why it's going to take an hour and a quarter, thirty seconds would have been enough surely! The last and probably only ever manager of England to win the World Cup or any thing really was that "Hell Raiser".....ALF Ramsey!...Apparently just went about things in his own quite way, playing to players strengths and comanding the respect of the players and staff!He was the manager, not a showman.
