Williams has generally been our most solid CB this season. But, my gripe with him today (beyond him falling asleep a few times) was his terrible game management late in the match. He gave away some stupid fouls that took precious time off the clock and he was fucking laughing it off. That shit wasn't funny. I have no clue how someone who has captained a side can do that. It was embarrassing and childish.

Williams doesn't deserve the shirt after today's display.

Me too. But, I always have a bad feeling, especially against shit teams, and doubly so after an extended break. I just have a sense that we're going to sleepwalk through the first half, Defoe will nick a goal and they'll park the bus. We need to fire off the blocks and get out to an early lead. I want Sunderland chasing the game from the start.
