  1. 94% Might've read the bit about the Baines o.g. first though
  2. Both Zelda games? I also loved Banjo Kazooie as a kid. Also, never actually played it, but I've often heard a lot of hype around Mario 64. It was definitely the age of the platformer/adventure game.
  3. Who's the liberal in this situation? The lady taking a swipe at modern people or the people taking the piss out of her?
  4. It's coming from an outside perspective, but I thought England looked quite decent (compared to Hodgson's teams at least) up until the pointless subs starting coming out of the woodwork. I think Southgate, despite his lack of experience, should at least be better than Hodgson and probably big Sam if he had of stayed on. At least he's picking players outside of the "big 6". Not happy that Barkley wasn't given time though. Should've been on instead of Lingard.
  5. Barkley's been playing his best on the right anyway, so keep him there and play Rooney as an AM. Give them both a bit of freedom and let them interchange positions too.
  6. Main priorities for me are a CB, AM, winger and a back-up striker. AM, winger and a striker could potentially be covered by 2 signings though. I think we need to pick up a guy at his peak or close to at CB to bridge the gap between youngsters like Holgate and our senior pros in Jags and Williams. We're almost certainly going to need a new, young LB, with Garbutt seemingly not rated and Baines getting on. I think if we can get our hands on a top class keeper it could be worth persuing, but the don't think the position is a priority considering how Robles seems to be developing. On the flip side l think we could go without a new RB, since I don't mind Holgate, Kenny, Connolly, etc picking up minutes in the cups or if Coleman gets injured. Holgate especially really impressed me when given chances there earlier in the season. I'm not particularly knowledgable when it comes to up and coming players, but some of these guys would be on my wish list: GK: Hart, Butland (if fit) CB: Koulibaly, Manolas, van Dijk, Keane LB: Robertson, Davies, Rodriguez (he's basically the new Baines anyway ) AM: Sigurdsson, Lanzini Winger: No one really coming to mind. Maybe a Redmond or Zaha. Striker: I wanted Perez or Gabbiadini over the summer and Perez especially would arguably be available and cheaper now. Could be interesting to see Rooney return at the right price too.
  7. Honestly, who else are you going to pick? It's slim pickings outside of the squad Southgate picked. Think the squad looks pretty good myself considering. Leaving out Walcott, bringing in Redmond and not just picking players purely on whether they play for a top 4-7 club or not.
  8. Comviently glossing over this bit literally from the question before: "He is a top player (Kane). You want to see top players in the league. I am sad that he is injured. Everyone wants to see top players in the league and it is sad for Tottenham and him."
  9. I've only ever known it as "having a gander" in Australia. Is that one used in the U.K. too?
  10. Generalising here, but I tend to find the best macro beers are from Germany, while the best micro/boutique are from the US and Australia. I live in Australia though, so most of the fancier beers available here are from those two countries.
  11. Yep, Michael Zorc. I remember a lot of Dortmund fans being more worried about potentially losing him after Klopp moved to Liverpool than about Klopp himself.
  12. Just feel as if he's underrated and we'd eventually get more money from any deal if we let him show off his wears on loan first (if we bring in a proper no. 1 for him that is).
  13. I still don't think he'll ever be a top quality keeper, but I've noticed definite improvements in his game this season. He's actually claiming crosses now, rather than constantly punching everything! I really want to see him given a run until the end of the season to see how he develops, instead of bringing in someone else over January. We can always re-access at the end of the season and if we end up buying a new keeper for me needs to go out on loan so he can keep learning.
  14. 37% - "You're a little loose with your cash - a bit of belt tightening wouldn't hurt." Feel like I'm on the high end of the scale for a young 'un.
  15. I'm not sure if running this survey near Christmas is a great idea...
  16. Honestly can't be bothered voting. Such an uninspiring performance.
  17. Gana at times has certainly been taking on that box-to-box role. I can't remember which games it's happened in, but we've certainly played with more of a 4-1-4-1 shape a couple of times this season, with Gana pushing on more and Barkley shifted towards the left. I don't think Gana has the goal scoring ability we'd ideally like from a box-to-box mid though.
  18. Feel like I was watching a different game going on some of the comments regarding Bolasie. I thought he was absolutely rubbish I thought Coleman and Barry were good in the first half, but that Barkley and Rom were the two to really stand out by the end of the 90 minutes. Think Rom just edges it for me.
