Januzaj has been one of united's best players, so he'll still be regularly in the team. I reckon the Mata signing spells the end of Kagawa. He's struggling to get games as it is. He'll have no chance with Mata hanging around.

That'd be Hibbert gone if we sign him. Supposed to be a decently talented, balanced full-back, but I'm not sure how I feel about signing another right-back with Seamus being fairly young himself. Would probably rather just have Stones fill in when needed and have him gain as much first team experience as possible.

I think in hindsight, apart from a need to get fresh legs on earlier, Martinez probably dropped the ball in persisting with our 4-4-2 for so long in the second half. West Brom really pressed us hard all game and an extra number in midfield certainly would've helped us in stringing more than a pass or two together after the early part of the game.

Think Martinez has been waaayyyy to kind letting go of Jela to give him some game time for the world cup before bringing in a replacement. Lukaku looked ridiculous jaded for the entire second half (as did most of the team mind). Hoping this Traore lad's hammys are in better nick than what's being reported. We desperately need some fresh legs in the team. Can really see why Rom was used off the bench so often for WBA last season.

Haha, just be hoping that it's a permanent change and not another flirty Martinez loan!

Hopefully either of McGeady or Deul can quickly come into the team as an attacking midfield trio of Mirallas, Pienaar & McGeady/Deul looks pretty good to me.

Brad Jones, Cleverley & Danny Graham off the top of my head.

Everton 3 - 0 Norwich Lukaku

Would be a handy cover player for central midfield, especially with the injury prone Gibson being the other real back-up option, and left back. On the other hand he might just get in the way of developing players such as Lundstram, although another Championship loan for guaranteed game time might do him more good again next season anyways.

I only think he'd come in if we'd fail/choose not to to sign Barry. They're very similar players and Cambiasso would still command a pretty high wage based on his former glories.

I'd just like to see him get more game time on the wing from off the bench. He's one of our pacier wide players (not saying much) so he'd be a good counter-attacking option later in games. I think he's been a bit hard done by from Martinez, only getting the one opportunity from the bench (that game against West Ham) before he got starts due to Baines' injury.

Supposed to be more of a winger than a striker, so his goal tallies don't seem so bad in that case. Apparently he's got all the talent to be a future gun player, just needs to keep working on his mental aspects.

Everton 3 - 0 Sunderland Lukaku

We just completely lacked a decent final ball for most of the second half, which made us look atrocious at times. That inconsistency in the final third won't change until we can get some real world class talent in our attacking positions. Hopefully Barkley can develop into such a player for us.

I was keen on Remy over the last transfer window as a cheaper option (a la Kone), or Doumbia if we had the money for a top class striker.

That article was really sad to read. Hopefully some changes to the legislation regarding youth sex offenders isn't far around the corner.
