  1. Neville is captain, Arteta is vice captain and Jags after him. If we did sell Jags it's not likely we would get any of it spent on the team. The way bill was talking sounded like the bank wanted the money back. So £13 has gone off the overdraft, leaving us with £12m. If we got £18m for jags the bank might take £12m of that leaving us £6m to buy who?
  2. I'm sure Phil will be hurting, I'm positive he had the right intent, but just putting it into practice was the issue. Yesterday was a prime example where we needed a bit of nasty in our team to pull everyone's socks up. A Barton or Bellamy could have been the difference IMO.
  3. I guess we had a few pisses off fans when we finished 4th? Our football was shite! Long ball and won most games with a scrappy 1-0. The FA cup in 95 must have made people sick and ashamed because the dogs of war could not play entertaining football if they tried! Ask the Chelsea fans who won two leagues playing ugly football under Jose how they feel about it. Ask the inter fans who celebrated the league and CL wins playing ugly football. Sports and any sort of competition is about the winning. Arsenal played some great football for years but won fuck all! Their fans would rather a cup or a league I'm sure.
  4. I've been getting much worse than laughed at, I've been getting sympathy!!!
  5. I thought fellaini did ok, showed great control but we are crying out for creativity and a striker. Throw yak in on Wednesday for me.
  6. I don't wanna get on jacks back too much as I do still think he has bags of potential. But he needs to be played in the middle to keep developing. Square pegs in round holes do not help kids grow into great footballers.
  7. I try to see the team and the board as two different things, but a performance like that from the team will only add pressure to the board.
  8. Barkley, the rest were shite. I want my £70 back.
  9. I think before the game, half time and full time you may see and hear the response towards bill and the board, but I'm sure when the match is being played we will all be behind the lads on the park.
  10. It's Gunna get worse now. I honestly don't think they will have broken an agreement as it would damage their campaign. I really hope it's not everton trying to disgrace them after bill doing a less than good job of the interview, but I worry it may be.
  11. that bloody everton! they cant count their expenses and they cant count their players stats! they are rubbish!
  12. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2011/08/19/moyes-confirms-beckford-bid £2m!!!! that is sven being shot at for taking the piss!
  13. did anyone expect anything else? im not saying its not what he thinks, im sure its all 100% honest as i believe moyes is an honest man, but he wouldnt publicly talk down the board would he
  14. if we got him he would end up working for the bank
  15. In fairness it says appearances, not starts. according to evertonfc.com he played in 36 (18 from the bench) and scored 10.
  16. im with mark with the nutella, but can i have tulisa from n'dubz/x factor & ivanka trump (the best thing about apprentice usa) bit of class mixed with a bit of trash!
  17. i made that out as £6m for the four clubs, like 1.5 each. maybe wrong though. i did nearly wet myself at the thought of BIG COLA on our shirts
  18. i agree with you there matt. though i know when elstone came in he had said off record that he felt like he was putting out fires all the time, fires that wyness had started. im sure its all running a bit smoother now coz i do like elstone, but i sometimes feel he maybe out of his depth. doesnt have massive business experience on a large scale.
  19. i mean more the idea of selling players to put the money into debt. selling players to buy players is hard enough, but is the options we are stuck with. the young lads clearly arent good enough yet in moyes opinion or they would have had more game time.
  20. of all the everton fans i speak to in the real world, not this crazy cyber space world, there arent many now who dont want answers and a bit of clarity from the club. even the die hard "leave them to it they know what they are doing" types are starting to question. but im only talking from maybe ten people i speak to on a daily basis here. i see what your saying matt. i dont agree or disagree really, heirarchy level just a bunch of figure heads and job titles. but, and this is a big but, a lot of people credit Bill for Moyes success as he was the guy who hired him and kept him on. at the same time he is the guy who hired the current CEO, the joke of a CEO before that and before him too(Birch i think, was here for about a week). So if the CEO does a bad job Bill must take responsibility for bringing them in and keeping them on.
