i'd really like a big power house in midfield. if we do go for him, it would be another bonus having another big player in the squad, which we have lacked in recent years imo

hughes, ginola and gascgoine were long gone before they signed. owen is still 29, should have a couple of good years in him, only one way to find out though.

i was messing jamie. look at the guy, he has all the footballing success any player could wish for, he is adored by his entire nation (apart from inter) and he must get all the birds!

i think arsenal are the only possible one to do, but even then, i dont think we can do it without major investment. i think we need to look over our shoulder a bit more yet, villa, spurs and city will all be getting stronger.

isnt that a good thing mike? surely its mostly the kids that go for all the merchandise anyway? i'd never buy pretty much most of it. though im a big fan of the home kit and the jacket that looks like too, but then i like anything with a bit of retro about it. but then im not bothered what the players look like in training.

i think hes being very careful with vaughan for now, the kid is coming back from some very bad injuries.

after looking around further, even more impressed. all the other views of the training kit have pic of the players using them. and interestingly enough, nash, vdm, castillo and jacobson are all missing from the squad list. (anichebe is still on there)
