  1. very impressed so far. i like some of the training gear. can see the shorts and socks so far, and the back of the shirts with names on. and the green goalie kit, smart. defo moving in the right direction with kitbag
  2. i hate him, he has everything i dont! legend though
  3. if we were to sign ledley they pienaar can replace osman on the right. bentley will be going cheap this summer. hibbo can be replaced by jacobson (ive not been a fan but he looks better now) or neville is still our best right back imo if we could bring in another midfielder (i dream of moutinho but hope is fading on that one) we must have at least £15m to spend in the summer, they could both be replaced with that money, and im sure moyes will know that. £15m could bring in one quality player and another good one, and we could get owen on a free to bolster the front line a bit. but id be happy to spend a big chunk of that on one very very good player. id be happy to see £10m go on glen johnson if we could tempt him.
  4. have nothing but respect for them both, and ive always been a fan of hibbos tough tackling style (which seems to have been lost in recent times) and osmans ability to unlock defences with a shuffle of his feet (again, lost in recent times and frustrating as we know what he can do) but to move on they are the next ones to be replaced. moyes way has always been to slowly replace player for player with more quality. they must be next.
  5. until they block the view of a fan, and end up with a coin in the back of their heads
  6. always believed for the right money manny could have really grown as a player here. if that summer we could have got him and yak in the side the change would have been massive. a pacey winger or striker will help us massively! reading the times review of the final today, saying pienaar could easily cope with the champions league - cant imagine how screwed we'd be if we lost him.
  7. what will the extra official do? even in prem games the 4th official cant have a deciding effect of the game can he? there are some big clubs in this, could be a tough one.
  8. left foot, and pace - im sold. but then id take any left footer with pace. whats his favoured position?
  9. i also like the bit about him holding off 2-3 men, because i genuinely think he could, if he wasnt already on his arse by the time the ball gets to him. i'll say again what ive said before, if he has so much potential, why couldnt he get a game when we had no strikers fit apart from him? with jamie on this, we need pace big time. all of our pace is with centre halfs. we've had no pace since AJ left
  10. i dont think he stands too far away from the goal, its not like he gets lobbed. if hes further out the ball shouldnt be going past him. i think he just peforms better with less time to think, even if its only a split second or two. wright was similar, he was a brilliant shot stopper, but from distance he was crap. howards better than him though.
  11. i enjoyed reading that until "Anichebe is getting stronger and he has potential. Great" i must have missed that revelation
  12. fellaini played well, but i gave ti to lescott, he was pretty solid at the back today, should have closed lampard down, but i think they were xpecting a freekick (play to the whistle i know) we were lucky today, it should have been 3-1 and they could have had a penalty (lampard was very unlucky to get booked) still had a great day out, sunburnt real bad, one lad got thrown out the back of a coach infront of us, looked in a bad way, hope hes ok. and finally, we made more noise at the final whistle than the chelsea fans did when they lifted the cup!
  13. on a short term deal (one or two years) i have no problem with him. in a press conference after the liverpool game they asked shearer why he didnt play the striker with the best goals to shots ratio in the league
  14. i wondered what that platform was for when i saw the webcam the other day. (half of the pitch laid already!) i thought the screen would have been bigger than that. i remember the jumbotron from the 90's, that was much bigger im sure. hope everyone enjoys the game, regardless of location (i wont rub in just how good my view will be) just hope we see pip with the cup in his hands.
  15. cant believe arshavin would have been next on the list. apart from the game he got four goals, i cant remember him doing much (apart from asking for more money)
  16. why would they NEED to cash in on him? they didnt buy him to make money, they bought him to play football. as for kaka, i hope he doesnt go to real madrid, he's too good for them.
  17. decent premier league player, but i think we are a little above his level.
  18. im with you reg, i dont think we need a keeper.
  19. i was being sarcastic jim. id be even more worried if it was Reids money though
  20. i agree, him and walker are both great prospects.
  21. the question of his ability must have been raised when he was our only fit striker and could still not get a game. for a lad of his size he goes down to easily, for a lad with his pace ive barely seen more than a half arsed jog, and as for complaining about the ball being played to him in the air when he actually did get a game, he needs to get real. i too think a spell in the lower leagues would only benefit him, i still cant see him ever being a starter for everton.
  22. no, he was always crap. you cant say you actually thought he was good.
