  1. he insists hes not takin the piss. though the only links he has are through steven warnock, and thats surely nothing to do with hibbert
  2. one of my mates txt me before saying he heard city and celtic are both after hibbert, £6.5m nearly wet myself
  3. if anyone has been to west ham, and has seen the chaos in the station there on a match day, i think its pretty similar scenario for a station on a match day.
  4. i'd love him here, when we were linked in the summer i was genuinely excited. i just thought he was injured though, had no idea of the problems off the pitch. its classic of a young player with the world at his feet, all hes ever told is he will be a big star then cant play due to the injuries but has too much money and time on his hands and can end up in some dark dark places. if he can get past it he has the potential, remember last year he was the one that stood out a mile, even more than steven ireland. vaughan has had a simialr (less time on the pitch) career so far, just seems hes been supported in the right way.
  5. im sure thats all the evidence brought forward in december. elstone spent a lot of december on the stand.
  6. wouldnt lose money on him, hes like a useful anichebe to me. not exciting but plenty worse
  7. this is gunna be an interesting few weeks. we could come through this on top of the world and have a great run in, or the next few weeks could kill us off. either way, im looking forward to it.
  8. the major thing here Mike is that this has been given as evidence to the enquiry, and the club haven't made any moves to deny it. personally on the rooney's attitude at Goodison, id put it down to him feeling betrayed if they have pushed him. disgrace him or disgrace kenwright? its the gary speed howard kendall row all over again.
  9. i think its a good piece of business, they will have to pay over the odds because everyone knows they can. hes a good solid premiership left back.
  10. we've all been students at sometime, thats why we have the right the give abuse to you bums use your degree's to sign us Love please J
  11. went with Tony, he was like a winger today, weird!
  12. ah, i read from 77 down. very interesting, pretty much what we knew anyway, but never seen in black and white before. the term Billy Liar comes back into mind. i like Ian Ross, good with words.
  13. didnt see anything about FSF but is interesting
  14. or maybe, just maybe thats because the public enquiry has now brought everything out and there is little left to say. you ask a businessman what turnover means, i'll wait until profit is brought into the public eye before i take notice of that rubbish. i have 100% faith in Elstone, so i wont get on his back, but its gunna take him a few years to fix the mess left behind by Wyness. anyway, moyes has sorted his players out, or signed his contract, depends which way you wanna look at it. but its all rosey again now, happy days.
  15. gives the kid a chance to make a career out of football, would be shit if we did take money for him. good luck to him
  16. it would be nice if moyes could be supported by the board, but as we know it wont and cant happen. BK has no money, has made it known he doesnt expect any to come in soon, and the board havent put a penny in anyway. hopefully moyes can keep this good work going
  17. good news - for now. we cant let anyone go at all
  18. if thats all hes wanting then i see no reason not to go for the lad
  19. understand beards comments, neville did a great job in there today, unsung hero. but arteta was back to what we want to see him doing. (anyone think he maybe seeing a chance to get in the spain squad while cesc is injured) my MOTM by far
  20. still waiting to see that one happen. but he has shown today and at boro, he will give them the chances
  21. heard a horrible rumour, we are looking at brian mcbride. there would be little or no transfer fee and his wages would be cheap. not happy. also heard we do want bullard, but the lad wants big wages which we cant afford and fulham want to rape the money from anyone who is interested.
  22. cahill again with a brilliant job up the top. gosling done his future chances no harm at all, cool and composed on the ball, would have been nice for one of his chances to drop. all the lads at the back were solid, and its been a while since lescott played so well at centre half. arteta and is really showing form in the middle now. but im going with fellaini for this one, he was everywhere, the rate hes improving is great, happy with this one.
