  1. Sounds like she's going all Celine Dion emotionally-over-the-top with a face that looks contorted with a particularly severe bout of constipation Mark :competitive: . Just horrible.
  2. Don't agree at all. We had some luck earlier in the season but the last two games we've got exactly what we deserved, if we'd had a bit of luck we'd have got six points rather than four. According to the OS, Yobo deffo out for the Christmas games, Vic and Saha doubtful, but Ossie looks like it's just bruising and he may be OK. Squad... Howard, Nash, Hibbert, Neville, Lescott, Jagielka, Baines, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Fellaini, Pienaar, Rodwell, Gosling, vd Meyde, Kissock, Jutkiewicz, Wallace.
  3. Just heard the biggest crime against music I've been subjected to since Jordan tried out for the Eurovision Song Contest. Leona Lewis' annihilation of the truly great Snow Patrol's "Run." How was she allowed to do that? Normally listening to something that bad I'd just laugh but I was too stunned by the indescribable awfulness of it. Truly shocking.
  4. No excuses....you're a lightweight .
  5. FC Twente winger Eljero Elia is a target for Everton manager David Moyes. (Daily Telegraph) Cardiff City defender Roger Johnson is attracting the interest of Everton, Stoke City, Tottenham, and Bolton. (The Times)
  6. Can't find that online Zed (link anyone?) but I put mirror, Moyes and miracle into Google and found a cracking article from March '05 . http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/columnists/r...15875-15259794/
  7. Done . You can't change it yourself, if you'd prefer adamsmith let me know.
  8. It's something I've said more than once before but when he's on form, like yesterday, he reminds me of Trevor Steven. I can pay no higher compliment....just wish he'd do it every week. He had a good start to the season but has fallen off a bit recently, back on form now though....long may it last.
  9. Doh. Put Ossie in instead of Marouane...changed. Thanks for pointing it out....I'm assuming Ossie will be out.
  10. Down to the bare bones again, Ossie and Joey very unlikely to be fit I think but hopefully we'll have a striker back. Presuming Castillo's still out... Howard Hibbert..........Jagielka..........Lescott..........Baines Arteta..........Neville.........Fellaini..........Pienaar Cahill Saha/Anichebe If we still have no striker then everyone's favourite Dutchman may even get a start with TC moving up front again . I still think we'll have enough to beat 'Boro but any more injuries and I'll bring my shirt for the Sunderland game...I may just get on the bench .
  11. Should think so to Xav....we've just given you top of the prem on Christmas day as a prezzie! Have a good one yourself matey . Off the pitch anyway .
  12. What was this crap about? Neither Scolari or his assistant, Ray Wilkins, attended the usual post-match press conference to take reporters' questions. A Chelsea spokesman said: "None of the Chelsea management team feel able to come up [to the press conference]. "They have issues with a number of decisions during the game and feel it would be better that they do not comment." Obviously been taking lessons on his induction to the "whining four" coaches club from Ferguson, Benitez and Wenger. "We can do whatever we like and it's never our fault."
  13. When I went to school (admittedly a long time ago) the difference between 25 and 32 (Everton to Champs League) was 7, and the difference between 25 and 18 (Everton to relegation zone) was 7 also . Think maybe there's more than one person on here who needs to take their socks off before attempting maths .
  14. Gone for Ossie myself but it's nice to have a few to pick from. Here's a quote you don't see to often from the beebs report... "Everton looked the more likely to take a lead as Hibbert, a constant source of effective crosses from the right wing all evening, whipped in a pacy cross for Fellaini."
  15. Different. Arsenal played Liverpool and United didn't play but still no three points for the "big" guns. Villa worth a cheeky punt for the title ?

  17. Certainly are...it's fucking my fantasy team but I'll live with it .
  18. Terry off, now there's a chink of hope .
  19. Not too bad at the back but I think we could go on for ninety hours and not score from open play. No threat at all after a couple of early half chances. Set pieces our only chance I think, but the longer we hold out the happier I'll be . Arteta completely anonymous.
  20. Loads here, sure you'll find one.... http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=...amp;part=sports

  23. Noticed that and had a look at the online box office to see how bad it was, and although on the main stadium diagram they're claiming "good" availability for some areas of the ground when you actually look for a seat virtually the only ones left are restricted views. Would take a very big game for me to pay £30 for a view of a pillar.
