Daughters are all grown up and Josh is twelve so there's no Santa any more....the grandkids are getting a bit aware of it now, two of them are two but that doesn't give us the 5.00am stocking opening thing as they don't live with us . Our decorations are a bit minimalist also....taste over garishness and quantity . Lots of good food, which I cook...although I cook most of the rest of the year anyway. We'll see family (while desperately trying to avoid my mother ) but the highlight will be, as I've said elsewhere, the trip up to see the Sunderland game on the 27th.

Pretty disturbing first half really....luckily as we're a forty-five minute team this year the boys will now start to play. Fortunate that the defence got in a few blocks and Howard made a couple of saves. Second half can't possibly be as bad....can it ?

Worked well the ony other time he's tried it this season, at Stoke where Vic got a goal and came second in our MOTM vote . Had a dodgy first half but came good in the second....lets hope history repeats.

How can you possibly take seriously someone who says something as obviously stupid as... Can he please explain just how it would be possible for any home game to have exceeded the current ground capacity ? In fact the only games that his argument could possibly apply to other than the ones mentioned are at Villa, City and Sunderland....are we responsible for them not selling out? The question of filling a bigger ground is a good one....I'd hate to see huge open spaces in the ground a la 'Boro...but make the argument in a sensible way for God's sake .

Something I don't understand.... He wasn't stupid and it wasn't sinister, just that he and Trulli (his team-mate) were the only two that took the risk and stayed on dry tyres when it started raining at the end. It nearly worked but on the last lap they both were struggling and went round in 1.44 (within a tenth of each other). Hamilton's last lap was a 1.26 and as he beat Glock by five seconds in the end 23 so seconds is about right. No conspiracy (though Hamilton fans would doubtless have found one had he lost....Enzo Ferrari got God to make it rain or something equally plausible) or stupidity. The rain (and his inability to beat Vettel) appeared to have taken the title off Hamilton, but then it gave it back to him. Perhaps he really does have god in the car with him ? He won't win it again though .

Is that some form of hallucinogen ? I've atually just got the timing wrong on the spuds so they're mashed and ready to go but the spicy nacho beanburgers are a good ten minutes off.....don't you just hate it when that happens <_< ?
