  1. I knew he was a blue but I didn't realise quite how much.... http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-f...00252-21682174/
  2. Truth is completely the reverse....if he's got ambition he'll stay....if he's just after money (which he's not) he might take it. Clueless geordie is polite.
  3. Newcastle have begun their search for a sixth manager in four years after the resignation of Kevin Keegan. Everton boss David Moyes and former Juventus coach Didier Deschamps are among the names being considered, BBC 5 Live's Jonathan Legard understands. Moyes was previously mentioned as a possible successor to Sam Allardyce when he left Newcastle in January..... ...Moyes, who has yet to sign a new contract with Everton, was among those considered before Keegan returned to St James' Park in January. Legard said: "Sources in the North-East claim Moyes' name is again in the frame, particularly as his new Everton contract remains unsigned, although I am told that is set to change imminently. "Whether Moyes would want to work in tandem with Newcastle's director of football Dennis Wise is another matter. "And whatever his frustrations with Everton's transfer budget, he'll have seen that Newcastle's recent spending power has been flyweight by comparison." Big of them to consider him....arrogant bastards.
  4. ffs lad we've been talking about all that for days, read the fucking threads.....not doing it all again just for you.
  5. Thought that was Mary Tyler Moore© .
  6. No stick, I agree. Always more special for me when Ossie, or Vaughan, or any product of the youth system scores. More so if they're a born Blue. I'll wash my mouth out with soap later, but that feeling when Rooney scored against Arsenal to break their thirty game unbeaten run!?!? Priceless, beyond the reach of the richest Arab's money.
  7. Stupid comment. There's no point in us welcoming other supporters and expecting them to be respectful if we can't give them the same back. The Belgian lads have made an interesting and very useful contribution in the last few days, much appreciated by the huge majority of us.....but there's always one or two <_< .
  8. Thanks for that Louis. Jimmy we all know Louis' position on the move so you wouldn't really expect anything other than his personal take on things. If you want an "unbiased" report you'll have a long wait because everyone there (and here) has a viewpoint. Just have to listen to everyone and draw your own conclusions. Edit...Adam got in before me on that point . He says he is, he's said it many times. I see no proof that he isn't. I believe him.
  9. Louis is the ultimate authority round here guys. Send him a pm and you'll get a decision one way or another . Personally I don't see why we couldn't give it a try (if it's an option on this board version).....
  10. ....but there's always the worry of Clint Eastwood breaking in and flying off in it .
  11. I like peanut butter and marmite (mixed) on mine... ....but I had mushrooms & tomatoes on toast just now. Very acceptable . ....and Jimmy, that happens....unless you're the Queen .
  12. That's completely acceptable . Just the choice of words, "He reminds me of The Rat," or "He plays like The Rat" would have been fine. "He's The Rat of today?" Not yet....but I take your point (and I hope he is one day!).
  13. There's one on here (Clickety-click!), where we get our arcade games. Not used it but it's just a box on the front page of the forum for whatever posts you decide to use it for.
  14. Why thank-you Jamie . Coming from the winner of the 2017 "Best Screenplay" Oscar that means a lot .
  15. I always pull up, Josh up for not, using, enough comma's....maybe I should shut, up, and he may, become a famous, writer one, day. Speaking of strange punctuation, anyone read The Exorcist? William Peter Blatty uses a lot of short and one word sentences. Honestly. He does. I promise.
  16. I like that bit very much.....great recommendation.
  17. I'm guessing from your name you were born in 1987, and never saw The Rat play. Jags has a long way to go before he can be spoken about in the same breath as Kevin.
  18. It is stupid. Suggesting they might bring in 18 players. Death of City as a club in my opinion, I'd be horrified if it happened to us. Ten years time they'll be playing all their home games in Abu Dhabi with a thirty-ninth game each year at Eastlands.
  19. Fucking furious here . Despite Avis car rental saying on their website (about Greece), "island hopping on some of its over 1400 largely unspoilt islands is still the best way to experience the calm and blue splendour of the Mediterranean sea," I've just phoned them to check that I can take a car hired in Athens over to Zakynthos and they've said NO. Fucks up next years holiday plans big time because I was paying for the car with Air-Miles, and they only use Avis. Emailed them to get confirmation and if it's right I'm gonna sue the bastards for false advertising <_< .
  20. Mediate's another strange omission. I'll rethink my position on the winners also, we really ought to do it again.....but then again we really shouldn't have won it several times in the recent past and we did. Beware the underdog.
  21. Inevitable really. No-one could run a team with someone else in charge of transfers. Totally ridiculous to even try, and only someone as daft as Keegan would have.
  22. Deceptive though if (as I think was stated) all those figures are net. That equates to closer to £25,000 per week gross (how all salaries should be quoted) which sounds more realistic, and it'll no doubt be open to re-negotiation if he lives up to expectation.
  23. Bill has grandchildren who have bus passes Jimmy .
