Me too. He's a solid player and underrated. He didn't have a good game against Kyiv, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

Personally, I would hope to overtake several teams, including West Ham, before the season ends. I realize that one swallow does not make a summer, but we're much too good a team to be this low in the table.

Watching the replay, Lukaku's run for the first goal was very impressive. His penalty, on the other hand, was terrible. Still, they all count.

Funny! It's actually the other way around. The Ukrainian version is Kyiv; the Russian spelling is Kiev. At least, that's my understanding.

I've been there a couple of time on business, and I've always referred to it as Kyiv. That's the English equivalent of the Ukrainian spelling. Kiev is the anglicized version of the Russian spelling.

I'm looking forward to this game. We've been dominant in the Europa all season, and I see no reason why this shouldn't continue.

Spent two days in Britain this weekend (leave from Heathrow this morning), and it was like I never left: As in the 70s and 80s, all I read in the paper was about pitch invasions and fans throwing things. Well done Villa!

Not sure why one day under 18 is unacceptable and one day over is perfectly fine. Is there something particularly moral about an 18th birthday? Legally maybe, but otherwise? He took advantage. He's supposed to be a role model- or at least that's how we used to view top players. He just lost any respect he may have had before.
