  1. Watching the replay, Lukaku's run for the first goal was very impressive. His penalty, on the other hand, was terrible. Still, they all count.
  2. The way Leicester, QPR and Sunderland are playing, we're already quite safe.
  3. From the BBC website: Cameron Laws: "A lot of people forget Lukaku is still only 21 years old. His ability for that age is remarkable, he'll keep improving."
  4. On to the Stoke match. Both chalkpie and rusty747 predicted the exact score: 2-0. This means that chalkpie has taken the lead for the month of March. Romey maintains a 4-point lead for the season, while Deacs has extended his lead for points per prediction.
  5. Here are the results from the Arsenal game. Congratulations to Deacs and TonkaRoost for predicting the exact score. For the season, Romey is hanging on to his lead. For average points per game, though, Deacs is on a real tear right now. (Nice to have Patto joining in this time around.)
  6. We'll play Wolfsburg in the final - you'll see.
  7. We'll find out in a few minutes' time, right?
  8. Funny! It's actually the other way around. The Ukrainian version is Kyiv; the Russian spelling is Kiev. At least, that's my understanding.
  9. I've been there a couple of time on business, and I've always referred to it as Kyiv. That's the English equivalent of the Ukrainian spelling. Kiev is the anglicized version of the Russian spelling.
  10. I'm looking forward to this game. We've been dominant in the Europa all season, and I see no reason why this shouldn't continue.
  11. Spent two days in Britain this weekend (leave from Heathrow this morning), and it was like I never left: As in the 70s and 80s, all I read in the paper was about pitch invasions and fans throwing things. Well done Villa!
  12. Not sure why one day under 18 is unacceptable and one day over is perfectly fine. Is there something particularly moral about an 18th birthday? Legally maybe, but otherwise? He took advantage. He's supposed to be a role model- or at least that's how we used to view top players. He just lost any respect he may have had before.
  13. Attending Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
  14. I thought he was excellent after coming on in midweek.
  15. Since I'm flying to Europe tomorrow and will be away for 8 days, I should make my prediction now for the Stoke game - just in case I can't gain access to the Internet. Apologies in advance if I'm unable to update the leader boards for a week or so. Stoke 0-0 Everton
  16. They're not going to win the FA Cup, and I doubt they'll make the top four. It'll be the Europa for them next year, at best.
  17. Because you were planning to eat at that dodgy Chinese place again?
  18. Two others deserve mention: Jagielka and Alcaraz. Both seemed very solid, confident, and assured.
  19. Sorry. Showing my age, that's all. I remember the constant encouragement to our Austin 30 to make it up the hill: "Come on, girl. You can do it!"
  20. It's true, though, isn't it? How long do you wait for a player to have an extended run of good health - to make up for the losses incurred when he was out for repair? At some point, you have to make a decision. I'd rather have a Toyota that works than a Lotus that's always in the shop for repair.
  21. I think I remembered wrongly. State income tax was zero, not sales tax (which is 6 percent). Your question remains valid, though. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/04/05/the-7-states-with-no-income-tax.aspx New Hampshire has neither income tax nor state tax. http://commonwealthmagazine.org/politics/the-download-how-does-new-hampshire-do-it/ Getting back on track, Tim Howard is from New Jersey, so his save percentage should be 7%.
