Round of 16 is pretty exciting. Sounds like our reserves and youngsters are really promising. I really hope they can go all the way.

hmmm, i'd rather have an out an out winger than another attacking mid. i feel the 7.2m paid for and "sizable fee to persuade" make it out of our league. even if we get 15m for baines well need a LB, winger, and CB. I don't think blowing the kitty on Barkley 2.0 is a great idea.

hmm, i don't know enough about davies but 7.5m is an investment. certainly luke shaw would be a bit more and soton probably wouldn't sell him, but is davies proven?

howard, if it weren't for those 2 or 3 big saves, we'd have dropped points. also everyone else was crap.

i can't believe we drew, we dominated the game but really lacked creativity and service to lukaku in the final third. really disappointed, and mad roberto didn't start barkley and delafeu. he better for liverpool, otherwise that one will get away from us quickly. motm was howard for his great saves to keep the draw.

decent first half, we came out intense and played well and then let it slip some and palace had a couple really good chances (howard to the rescue). i'd like to see barkley for sure, ossie is too slow, gives the ball away too much, and can't defend.
