That would be our last loan card this window then. As it's his last 12months with PSG, you would think they would just let him go then as free agent next summer in anycase.
They must still be covering part of his wages then for this loan to make sense.

Although I am not overly mad on the idea of ageing player coming in to the club at the end of their career. But I am pretty sure IGG will be coming with the right intentions, and not simply coming to Everton as a way to grab a few extra quid before retirement. I am sure he will give everything he has got to the cause. We currently have a gap in the squad that needs plugging and don't have a massive budget to do it. So as things stand I would rather have him available in the squad than not.
I’m guessing 2 year contract.

To late now mate his past 6 years of indiscipline and fuck ups have led us to where we are now, where Vinagre and McNeil are the best we can afford. Real game changing accusations.
Jesus your a bundle of fun aren't you our signings so far are quite good.

Welcome to Everton
I’m quite pleased the type of player we are signing.
I can see us playing some lovely football next seasonI’ll probably get lambasted for saying that but it’s just my opinion

I can see both sides really, on the one hand if you take emotion out of it and if we got the same Player back that left us then he walks into this team quite easily, he is light years ahead of the likes golf Davies,Gomes and Gbamin, if we can get him on loan or for a low fee it makes perfect sense, I would rather have him than Winks
But we’ve already seen home damaging emotion can be with the Benitez fiasco and people will be wanting him to fail in just the same way they did Benitez
It will split the cane base again so it would be a huge gamble so even though he improves us the question is does he improve us enough to take that risk?
Benitez got a fair crack of the wip to be fair at the start.

Difficult to get a hard on over this signing, or even a semi!!!
Blue pill maybe ?

McNeil will no doubt play on the right, especially with Patterson bombing on down the right. Gordon & Gray cover the left. Dele & Iwobi central with Townsend back up for Mcneil. ( Gordon or gray are more than equipped to play on the right as well ). It’s more depth than we’ve had for a long time to be honest.
I can see us selling someone but not a clue who.

This is demonstrably untrue. He had multiple team of the year type seasons. He was also our best attacking threat when he was here. Being “worth” the money depends on how you look at it. Insane wages but given his status as one of the most popular athletes on the planet I expect we gained far more than his salary in exposure for our brand.
Why do you think we off loaded him then we couldn't wait to get rid of him.

We need proof of that.
I don’t see Burnley paying that.

I don't judge anyone on SPL playing time.
Did he even play or was he always injured.

James 265K a week when he was Real not big enough for ya.
He's a luxury player and never excelled at any club never worth the wages he got.

Then came here on a £295k contract. Took a pay cut to go to Japan and is now only on £315k. Heard we’re gonna offer him one last contract, but for a lesser amount of just £365k!
No chance of James coming back and don't want him we are on the right track now young hungry players James Tucker is over with the possible Diaz deal he was too greedy.
Plus when the going got tough he always wanted to come off taking injuries.

Surprised it took this long to be linked to be honest. I'd still take him, wage dependent.
Did he not go to Rangers and done nothing of did he not go there it's a no from me.

So maybe he would struggle to make his mark in the championship and divisions 1 and 2, wages generally dictate how good you are, the better you are the more money you command, 16K a week tells me he’s well out of his depth in the top English leagues.
Have you ever watched him live ?
you can’t judge a player by the wages he earns.
what you don’t realise is abroad they don’t get big wages. -

The 2 Burnley fans I know (which accounts for about 50% of their fan base) didn’t understand why we were chasing injury-prone Cornet and thought McNeill would be a much safer bet long-term. I must say - ignoring the obvious goals/assist stats, McNeill is my preference too. I think he’ll flourish here and just seems the ‘right fit’ to take us forward. Feels like a Moyes type signing which, in my opinion, is not a bad thing for a few windows until we’re looking like a rope half side again.
Let's hope you are right

Lampard would have definitely given him minutes as well. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Too big for his own boots the ironic thing is when he left he would have got game time here.
A good signing for Vale I think.

Does anyone know what Coleman’s injury is I know he’s injured but not heard what it is

Still not a priority signing. LB is one you do at the end of the window once you've got the important signings done.#
Crying out for midfielders, and have been for a good while, so lets get a LB before the season starts and leave the important signings until we've already played a few games.
Everton all over.
I think Winks is nailed on for a loan with an option I think this waiting to buy is about saving money on wages.

He's still only young same age as Baines when we brought him back.
When he played at Goodison which was 2yrs ago he looked decent so I'm happy with this deal if it comes off.
