Mina is head and shoulders better than any other centre halves. Statistics don’t lie, we literally concede far less goals when he plays.
I would happily sell him as I think tarkowski is much better.
Mina has missed a full season on average over the last 3 years 63 games he’s good but never available if needs be I’d give him away for a low fee say 5m and save 6m wages also.

We don’t need him even if we do move Mina on. He’s crap.
Well to be honest I've never seen him as far as I know

He's signed a new contract.
Arsenal can now sell him if they want for a decent fee smart move.

We don't need Rodon unless we can actually move Mina on which won't be easy.

Good luck to the lad seen him a few times but it's really hard to judge at his age hope he comes through.

I know what you are saying, but we can be assured that who ever he sells to won’t be made on what’s best for the club, but what’s best for him. Yet knowing that I still want him to sell the club.
I read some of the the old posts at the time of his takeover and the euphoria and expectations was huge we were going to be like Man City or Man Utd, instead with one of the biggest budgets in the league we have become more akin to Mansfield Town, can Kenyon who knows his way around a successful club with his consortium really be any worse than Moshiri. Not sure anyone can be worse than we have been over the last 5years but villa already complaining about prices going up by 40% so that's what will happen next season I presume.

I’d love him here.
Big question mark, as with any player bought from abroad, but would be a good signing.
What about Tom Davies ?

People are saying it may not be Kenyons consortium there are others in the wings negotiating

I have a feeling we won’t be seeing much happening now until the takeover runs it’s course.
We can’t afford to wait for takeover it may not happen till after the season starts.

I’ve never known it to be so quiet on our transfer front but presume it will change on Friday with players out of contract.

Newcastle will max out on stuff like this.
if we get new owners I expect us to do similar but try to avoid alcohol etc. -

Newcastle’s new sleeve sponsor (£7.5m) isn’t far off our record main sponsor .
Who are they ?

I find it strange that Gordon would ever be touted as being a part of the deal.
I heard a few weeks ago might move but I’d rather lose Godfrey I just don’t see him making it at CB for me he can’t head a ball.
unless he turns into a Kevin Ratcliffe type defender. -

I agree - just too much wages on a player who struggles to be available for most games. Lets not also forget that the few decent performances seen at the tail end of last year where not in keeping with performances we seen over most of his time with us.
I see Winks as his replacement - and would welcome that over keeping Delph in the squad.
Winks is a far better player than Delph has been over the last few years and would actually be available to play not like Delph.

Interesting that he let Delph go. Delph did arguably help us especially against Man U…. You would think that lampard would think he was worth retaining but it’s clear that he may have been a problem in the squad.
Delph decided to retire

Sell Gray - sign Sarr from Watford off the back of a poor season - I think he’s class and could be the right time to swoop.
He’s still living off a couple of goals against Liverpool I think it was. done nothing last season why I wonder.

Iwobi still has a long way to go to justify that 35mil fee, it will take a lot more than 3 months of ok games to eradicate the 3 years of piss poor, under various managers.
But as i said im happy to give Frank the chance to build a team, just this signing does not fill me with hope, i did not rate winks long before we were interested.
But the game is all about opinions, and we all have our own, i hope im wrong. and hope Iwobi continues to improve.
I hope your wrong also

Anyone who has watched Winks over the last 18 months knows they are not getting an upgrade on anything that is already here.
As for other people knowing better just look at last 5 years signings, no expertise required there.
As for giving the new regime a chance to sort things out, I'm all for that, but i still think we have watched the game long enough to spot a dud when we see one.
2 months ago Iwobi was a dud until Lampard changed his system.

I don't want him.
Most Everton fans don't want him.
My Spurs mates are laughing as they don't want him.
So expecting news soon he will be an Everton player signed for 20m on 5 year deal.
Said it on a post earlier in thread- Cleverly MKII
Do you think the fans know more and should do recruitment.
you have to trust Lampard and Thelwell -

We should be signing star players from smaller clubs (think Richarlison), not outcasts from big clubs.
Richie cost us in the region of 40m we don’t have that sort of money now.

Could have been a worse deal I suppose
