the fans are the club patto..... without the fans there is no club, so I don't get the point that you see yourself different to fans and that instead you are part of the club?

"toxic" - when you hurt a persons emotions you will often see a reaction that isn't pleasant.   When you please a person you will see a reaction which is nice....

Its not difficult to get the support of Everton fans - or indeed many fans across the country.   Show that you care - give 100%, don't be afraid to dig out a teammate for not doing their job but also be there to back them up..... have courage - if you want Everton to do well you will be brave enough to demand the ball.

Fans see a group of players who quite frankly don't care enough - there have been situations in my life where there have been things I would prefer not to do, where allowing someone else to do it would be the easiest option - but I cared enough to put myself forward.  We have players who will quite happily watch a young kid be brave enough to do the things they should be doing.

If the fans saying "your not fit to wear the shirt!" is considered toxic - then tough shit, they players need to hear that - cos you know what? they wont be sat on a coach next season going to an away day to some 15,000 seater championship ground - they will be moving to another club maybe a celtic or rangers or maybe a turkish outfit.

I don’t see myself as any different than any other fan but still think I’m part of the club one thing I will not do is boo the team off the pitch I will criticise them among friends and family.
but I suppose I’m lucky I’ve seen us win nearly everything and some of our fans haven’t I feel sorry for them especially the young kids.

I think the fans have lost the players -  "we" are the fans..... the fans will always love the club, the fans have fought so hard to get these charlatans to perform.  The players don't care enough

I class myself as part of this club that’s why I said we’ve lost the fans and yes the team has been awful but in all my years watching Everton I’ve never seen our fans be so toxic.
sorry but it doesn’t help the situation.
we need to try and ride this storm stick together and get some points.

  3. We’ve lost the fans completely now I honestly don’t know what the answer is.
We need to try and get a settled side for me I’d try and get the back 4 sorted it’s looking like all the full backs are not good enough.
I would go with Holgate Keane Branthwaite Godfrey and bring Allan back in midfield play 442 it may mean leaving DCL out.
Gordon was a doubt yesterday with bruising to his ankles he’s been getting kicked to FK every week.

The defence are shite mate. There is no getting away from it, yes for large parts of the game against Man City we were resilient…… the players generally need the fans on them at all times to keep on it.  Keane wasn’t unlucky, he was poor.

look at the goals we have conceded, look at performances against the likes of Watford…. That is not a good defence at all.

I never said it was a good defence I said it's wrong to name and shame all the defence stuff like this gets back to the team and doesn't help whatsoever.

In the last 4 years I've seen Keane have better games than any of his co defenders other than the likes of Baines people are just obsessed with blaming him for all our woes.

Single handedly cost us points in the last two games. An argument that the defeats lie solely at the hands of this man.

Whilst he should be one of the better defenders, it’s quite clear he suffers from brain farts. Therefore he’s just not good enough.

If you think he has brain farts you should look alongside of him for that.

If we stay up then it is in spite of a shite defence. That is 100% fact.

for us to stay up we are looking at other teams around us and their fixture lists in the knowledge that we can not with any confidence whatsoever look at getting points away from home.

id say that’s fair would you?

It’s right to say we don’t look like getting points away but it’s wrong to name all the defence as being shite they weren’t shite against city they got lucky things can change with a bit of luck.

What’s all this “Keane was covering Holgate” nonsense then?

can we not just accept that we have two of the worst centre halves in the league and not try and offer excuses up for the one considered less completely shit than the other.

the whole “unfortunate weight on wrong foot” bollocks with the Man City goal was baffling.  If it was an out of shape 35 year old bloke playing in the zingari league you could accept it…. Not a bloody professional.

its like some “I know the art of defending and will prove so be making obscure observations “ workshop.

coleman shite, Keane shite, Holgate shite, kenny not good enough but he’s having a go in the wrong position.

the players can’t defend because they  can’t concentrate and because they are also lazy.

So according to you we are definitely going down with that attack on our whole defence.

Just having a ticket I'd have thought..

OS, "The Club has secured a limited number of coaches which will be free of charge, and these will depart from Goodison at 5am. Supporters will be able to select spaces for these coaches through the usual purchasing channels."

    Sound thanks

I think there’ll be plenty of tickets going spare I should get mine this afternoon.

For Wolves, I would go with a back four of Kenny  Keane  Godfrey & Mykolenko

If Keane is not available or not selected for whatever reason, then Holgate in his place and keep your fingers crossed.

Keep your fingers crossed is right.
I think Lampard will go with 3 at the back with Coleman and Mykolenko on the flanks we’re at home and have got to attack.
