  1. Very very worrying he’s not very good at CB. Probably the worst player under Rafa in terms of previous performances under Ancelotti. He’s been dreadful all season
  2. He was involved/at fault for 4 of their goals. He’s out of his depth. Just admit it….. he’s very very poor at this level.
  3. Awful decision making in front of goal there. Agree he’s a player lacking confidence but that’s because he’s playing in the wrong league. A career in the championship would be best suited at this present time
  4. Let’s not get away from the fact he’s actually crap though lads ey?
  5. Watched him at West Brom & Newcastle. He’s Victor Anichebe MK2 (when fit). Average at his best but will get a goal here and there. I wasn’t expecting anything else tbh squad filler.
  6. I’ve held back from raising concerns about his performances over the past 18-24months because there is/was a really really top player in there. But you can’t get a pass because of reputation. Lucas Digne has been very very poor for a long time and today’s performance was shocking
  7. Few people need to eat humble pie here. He looks a willing player. I’d much rather have him & his work rate than a Sigurdsson, Kean and alike. Brilliant goal & all around performance from him tonight
  8. Townsend was brilliant. What a tactical switch. Burnley didn’t know what hit them. Well done Rafa.
  9. Not a signing to inspire but a good solid backup with Premiership experience should DCL get injured.
  10. 12 months ago if you told me next seasons signings would be Begovic, Rondon, Townsend and Grey I’d have laughed my head off. On paper very underwhelming. However the last few years have been big payments on relatively poor signings (aside from last season which was good IMO). So maybe going back to the bargain basement is what we needed. Lets see how this pans out!
  11. Rafa has got a team full of hard workers. Unfortunately for James (regardless of his talents) he just can’t get fully fit and isn’t mobile/fit enough to work hard off the ball. An extremely talented player with the ball and I’m gutted he’s on his way out but I see the bigger picture.
  12. I’d say Gray has been the best player so far and yes still underwhelming considering his huge transfer fee. I think he will do well though
  13. He is looking a different player under Benitez. Still underwhelming but slightly less. I can see him having a decent season.
  14. Great business if he can stay focused and perform like that week in week out.
  15. I’d like to think we will keep him at least for the final year of his contract. Purely based on the glimpses of quality he brings. It’s that one through ball or bit of magic that can unlock the top teams. Having watched his most recent performances though, you can see he’s clearly not fit. I don’t think it’s match fitness either he’s just not very mobile. Clearly his body is coming to the end of performing at elite level.
  16. On paper it looks an underwhelming signing but I genuinely believe it’ll turn out to be a good one. Works hard, has pace and doesn’t think he’s a superstar.
  17. Bookies have it all covered. If a person wins over £12k from a bookie in one year they are no longer allowed to bet until the next calendar year with that bookie. There’s actually loads of rules to stop people winning big.
  18. Totally open to abuse but once someone throws big money on it they batten down the hatches. The big money bets are always investigated too.
  19. Potter is a no from me. On the basis that he won’t attract top players to the club. I also just don’t think he’s a top 6 manager. It’s an opinion but I think he’s all wrong. The french guy I have absolutely no knowledge of. Again a massive gamble and can’t see a long sustainable stay from him.
