Enjoy returning to your homeland! I cross the Tamar by train a couple of times a year to visit a friend near Helston. Actually I go for the pasties and fish and chips.

I'd like to have him in the spine of the team a couple of seasons more as we rebuild.

And effective captain.
Branthwaite just edged it for me.

He stood out this evening, very dependable and in control. A favourite already.

Me and my mate had a conversation about all the things we could do if Everton went out of business. We both agree we wouldn’t continue to follow football (we’re Evertonians, not football fans), could probably afford an extra holiday or maybe two each year (my family would be happy) and I could play more golf. It all sounded pretty nice to be honest, and a lot less stressful.
imagine not having to schedule your life around Everton games. Days out, family, weekends away. Umm.

Chicago I hope your right.
I love intense football with loads of crosses. I’m an old fashioned fan and love to see that type of football rather than passing possession bore fests.
This is why I can’t wait for Harrison to be on the pitch. Him one side, McNeil the other side and either Dom or Beto in the middle.
I loved watching Steven crossing the ball in for Sharp and Gray to get on the end of. I would give anything for that football to come back again. -
I'm more than happy to let Sean crack on with the poisoned chalice. Can't think of another manager who I would prefer and hopefully he is beginning to create the squad that he wants to take us forward.

Welcome. Are you Norwegian or American? Just interested!

I feel this club has been run more as a 'corner shop' type operation since the beginning of the Premiership league - and we have been overtaken massively by 'smaller' clubs who have got there act together. There is an interesting artical in the Financial Times about American owners - and a keep statement sticks out to me 'proffessionalsing operations'. We have been severley lacking in this.
There is also a mention on the oppertinites than multi club ownerships can bring, 777 do seem to be all over this aspect of club ownership and as the English Premiership team of the group we instantly become their Jewel in the crown.

Maybe this is the sharp shock we need to try and muscle our way on to the big boys table.
Maybe the Everton board consisting of people like Don Dransfield over Graham Sharps and Bill Kenwight of this world might just be a step in the right direction.
I seem to have now managed to convince myself if might not all be doom and gloom.
Maybe that's why I see Arkwright when I see the title of this thread. If you know, you know.

I didn't think he did but I wasn't there! Corrected.

Supporters were sorry to see Digne leave and he's always welcome back. Don't think we'll be playing Al-Ettifaq anytime soon.

I'll be supine at this rate.

If Marko lets Perez go and wants Lando I don't think the latter's contract will stop him.

Fact: Gray posted a deliberately negative comment about his manager.
Fact: It's all over the news media, including the BBC.
Fact: The words he chose to use are virtually identical to what he posted when leaving Leicester.
Likely: It'll be raised as an unwanted distraction in upcoming interviews with Dyche.
Fact: It destabilises us

Spill the beans Mike, who are you going to?

Don't forget you have to be mad to support Everton.

Having watched the game last night, a few things come to mind.
1) Having a real striker on the field makes a huge difference.
3) With new players in crucial roles, it's going to take time for them to gel.
5) Note our height in the team spine: Branthwaite, Onana, and Beto. We're going to benefit from this.
6) The officiating was.. puzzling? Spraying a new line rather than tell players to move behind the existing one? Just crazy.
I have no doubt that we're going to start climbing the table as this improved team line-up begin to understand one another better.
Cats vs Dogs

I have to say dogs over cats but either, either they can all be a great comfort when you are down and it's surprising how interested they can be when talking Everton!!
