Available on a low fee, would you have him at Everton? I think he's class, gets forward well and is an absolute athlete, he has struggled at City because of injury and with Zabaleta playing so well.

When I was really young I would always be Ian Wright, thought he was brilliant. I met him a couple of years ago and told him how I loved him when I was a kid, he's a proper sound fella actually.

When I got a bit older and started playing properly, I was always Zidane. Best player to play the game IMO.

Was gutted when he left but the timing was definitely right, he would have sat on the bench for us becoming practically ineffective as a player, he went to the states and has continued to do well in a weaker league, fair play to him.

Cahill is a legend in my eyes, pure passion and oozed Everton. He's got a nasty streak too which all fans love, him and Martins Indi had a good battle but their was only going to be one winner there and Cahill smashed him.

If you're going to have a defender sit on the bench and come on occasionally, which is all he'd do here, you may as well have it be a younger player as that sort of role would benefit them as they learn.

Young CBs need to play to develop, how often do you replace a defender during a game unless they get injured? John Stones came on leaps and bounds when Jags and Alcaraz were injured. Shane Duffy didn't develop nowhere near as much as he would have had he got game time.

You need proven CBs on the bench for decent depth IMO.

Old crest was sound, last seasons was sound, new one... Sound, can we get on with buying some players now.

Why do we need a centre half under 30?

Most CBs have their best years post 30, if we could have got him for free and got 2/3 years out of him I think that would have been seen as a decent bit of business.
