  1. Read somewhere in the 51 games he was in charge he played 51 different starting line ups, unreal that, I feel a bit sorry for him even though I know I shouldn't he just looked lost in that job, massively lost!!

He always used to say he wanted to manage in Germany, it might be good for him to go and get a job out there, out of the media spotlight for a bit cos he's been well an truly crucified this year by the press, he's aged about 25 years since taking the Utd job!!

  2.

Can find that in Portsmouth any given weekend. No need to venture so far north to discover such an experience.

For the kids on here, Dundee had a very good team once upon a time, and even reached the semi-finals of the European Cup of all things in a narrow defeat to (eventual champions) AC Milan. Well established club side with a once impressive history, although as so often seen before, used to living in the shadow of their more illustrious neighbors. I read all the above information from the link provided.

Yeah but Dundee ones give you a lift back to base in the morning after you smash them :yay:

  3. Thought for a minute you were asking who I'd rather have playing for Everton!

I thought this? Arteta all day for me, he was fuckin brilliant when we had him. Mirallas is massively inconsistent, I actually think he might be getting worse

  4. Definitely been 'Pulissed'. I can imagine Martinez spewing about how they played anti football at times.

Still can't believe it... 3 goals from 4 shots.

Yeah they wasted about 5 minutes towards the end on a nothing foul! Surprised the players remain so calm, must be proper frustrating.

  5. I can't describe how much I hate Pulis, proper saps the footballing life out of his teams by getting them to time waste from minute 1 and break up play with every opportunity, but, he got it spot on last night that added to us fielding a too attacking team led to us losing.

Can't win them all though and we are only 1 point off 4th, we needed a defeat after playing poorly IMO as it should wake the players up a bit and make the crowd realise we don't have a god given right to win every game at home, atmosphere is always terrible until we score!!

It won't be on Sunday which is a massive game for us now, I can't wait for it!!

  6. Welcome to the site,

I'm in the forces myself mate, definitely share your passion for travelling and understand what you mean by listening or watching by any means possible I listened to us on a wind up radio in Baghdad Airport back in 2005, having to wind the radio every couple of minutes, I was fucked by the time the game finished!!

I've always wanted to visit Bali, looks a beautiful country.

  7. I couldn't quite understand how a defender could let him beat him so many times when it's so obvious which way he's going to go every time! Don't get me wrong his feet are quick and he's great on the ball and finds space with his quick moves but surely a defender should be doing better against someone that's so one footed who's always going to go the same way!

I like his directness but his decision making needs a lot of work. runs himself into trouble too much and ends up giving the ball away far too often but he is great to watch when he gets going.

Another season would be great to see how good he can be.

Do you not think defenders think this? The defenders will practise all week in training what to do if they are going to be facing our players, the staff will watch loads of clips of all the players and tell each of their own team what to do to counter it. This show's how good he is, his pace and feet speed is incredible, as people have said here once he works on his final ball or shooting he will be an unreal player.

Yeah he is one footed but look how one footed Robben is and he's not a bad player like.

  8. I loved Fellaini when he was here, on his day he was unstoppable, shrugging players off for fun bringing balls down out the air on his chest like it was nothing! But, we've evolved a bit too much to suit his style, hope he comes good for Utd because he done well for us and we got a great price for him and its hard seeing him get slated so much when we know how good he can be.

Ivanovic is fucking brilliant, been Chelseas most consistent defender for years!
