Coming back to this as I highly doubt we spend cash on anyone else. Spence is off to Leeds. Hayden's deal to Luton is falling through. I'd add Cole Palmer to the list if we can sneak in there. Nketiah and Cornet not available it seems. I'd consider giving up a nut if we sold Keane and brought in Harwood-Bellis with an option to buy.

Takeaways: Branthwaite must play over Keane. Garner absolutely needs to take all dead ball situations over Young. Dobbin is good enough. Pickford was timid all day. Not sure what was going on. He had to come and collect their winner. Whipped in from way out directly into the 6yd box. Beto better be decent or we’ll be trying to save our season on the last day again.

Guess dyche was completely right/serious/honest when he said nothing was imminent. FFS this club is sending me to an early grave.

Harry Maguire
AlbanyNYToffee replied to duncanmckenzieismagic's topic in Rumourama - Everton Transfer Rumours
Exactly. Would be fine with Maguire but not at the expense of Branthwaite's development. We're set at CB for the season. All we need are 2-3 players who can create and score goals -
No one drags out a medical and announcement quite like us FFS

My biggest worry at this point isn’t the talent it’s his ability to acclimate to us. New country, language, mates etc. is a lot to ask of a 19 yr old. Hopefully Andre and Joao can help him before one or both of them leave before the deadline. We really don’t have anyone else that young firmly in the first team so maybe Jimmy and Jarred could help the lad. Maybe Danjuma? Another reason I wish Richarlison was still here.

Arnaut Danjuma
AlbanyNYToffee replied to duncanmckenzieismagic's topic in General Everton Discussion
Perhaps this is the wrong perspective but I would like the signing if he wasn't wearing the 10 shirt. Again maybe it's naive or stupid as it's just his preferred number but it shows we weren't 'saving' it for a better player. If Danjuma is expected to have the impact of other #10's in the league we're f***ed once again. -
Use this page: https://www.evertonfc.com/tickets/prices-seating-sale-dates careful with the time change. Here on the east coast I’ve been up a dozen times at 5am to grab tix haha.

Maybe/hopefully so but it's still a complete shit show. They didn't stick to their 48 hr promise so why bother following up with this nonsense that just raises the temperature. What was the point in sacking the CEO, CFO and Graeme well before the investment came in? Any functional business would have been able to accomplish the investment and board changes in one announcement. Once again my hope for the future of this club is diminished. Until Farhad is gone we're fucked. -

Tick tock tick tock. Forget the hope, it's the anticipation that kills you. -

Carlo and Marco. Roberto and Ronald would be defined as competent, nothing great though. Certainly you're right about Fat Sam, rafa and frank. -

This has been my biggest issue for years now. We've constantly been calling too many people a problem. I hate Bill at the moment as much as everyone else but he did run a club that was punching above its financial weight for close to 15 years. He had no vision on how to grow the club other than to find a Usmanov henchman but we were a successful club by any measure other than trophies. We've been a complete disaster almost since day 1 of Moshiri. Long story short we have no goddamn clue if Denise, Grant and Graeme are good or bad at their jobs. Look how many competent managers we've forced out. And whoever comes in next the same will likely be true. Nothing changes until Moshiri leaves. -

As exciting as this is (not because people lost their jobs) but because of what it could signal moving forward I still think we're beyond incompetent. Why issue this statement and include a statement about the Chairman in the next 48 hours? We can't even sack people correctly. But if in 48 hours BK is out, then and only then, will I have some hope for the future. As long as Farhad is majority owner we're destined for mediocrity...or worse as we've seen the last two years.
