If all we can do is scrape the barrel then I'd be inclined to take a punt (I know we can't have them all) on the following loans:
    Nketiah
    Reiss Nelson
    Harwood-Bellis
    Rico Lewis
    Isaac Hayden
    Djed Spence
    Cornet

Coming back to this as I highly doubt we spend cash on anyone else. Spence is off to Leeds. Hayden's deal to Luton is falling through. I'd add Cole Palmer to the list if we can sneak in there. Nketiah and Cornet not available it seems.

I'd consider giving up a nut if we sold Keane and brought in Harwood-Bellis with an option to buy.

  3. Takeaways:

    Branthwaite must play over Keane.

Garner absolutely needs to take all dead ball situations over Young.

    Dobbin is good enough.

Pickford was timid all day. Not sure what was going on. He had to come and collect their winner. Whipped in from way out directly into the 6yd box.

Beto better be decent or we’ll be trying to save our season on the last day again.

  4. My biggest worry at this point isn’t the talent it’s his ability to acclimate to us. New country, language, mates etc. is a lot to ask of a 19 yr old. Hopefully Andre and Joao can help him before one or both of them leave before the deadline. We really don’t have anyone else that young firmly in the first team so maybe Jimmy and Jarred could help the lad. Maybe Danjuma? Another reason I wish Richarlison was still here.

  7. Perhaps this is the wrong perspective but I would like the signing if he wasn't wearing the 10 shirt. Again maybe it's naive or stupid as it's just his preferred number but it shows we weren't 'saving' it for a better player. If Danjuma is expected to have the impact of other #10's in the league we're f***ed once again.

Definitely makes it sound like it’s just a stop gap out of necessity until the MSP deal becomes official and the new board take over with Bell and Downing taking up the Chairman and CEO roles

Maybe/hopefully so but it's still a complete shit show. They didn't stick to their 48 hr promise so why bother following up with this nonsense that just raises the temperature. What was the point in sacking the CEO, CFO and Graeme well before the investment came in? Any functional business would have been able to accomplish the investment and board changes in one announcement. Once again my hope for the future of this club is diminished. Until Farhad is gone we're fucked.

He's going to get Life President or something like that. The desperation to cling on to something is strong with this one.

It's a tone deaf statement, again, but at least some of the problem has been jettisoned out of the club.

This has been my biggest issue for years now. We've constantly been calling too many people a problem. I hate Bill at the moment as much as everyone else but he did run a club that was punching above its financial weight for close to 15 years. He had no vision on how to grow the club other than to find a Usmanov henchman but we were a successful club by any measure other than trophies. We've been a complete disaster almost since day 1 of Moshiri. Long story short we have no goddamn clue if Denise, Grant and Graeme are good or bad at their jobs. Look how many competent managers we've forced out. And whoever comes in next the same will likely be true. Nothing changes until Moshiri leaves.
