Well, we've managed to stick a toe in the door and keep Europe a possibility. Big game this with West Ham & Chelsea. We're going to need some results to go our way.

Delph. 1 game 1 win. Really though, Pickford, big save at the end and would not have heard the whistle on that volley. They way he was getting stuck into players on corners was great. Godfrey is a big big player.

Huge 3 points. That Pickford at the end is the top 4 keeper we know he can be. Huge effort

This game is so winnable. We’re harder into challengers, just need one of gylfi, james or Gomes to step up and get us onto the ball. Better yet all three. James is having to come way too deep to try and impact the game

Players back from injury, surely a bit of added desire from the weeks events. Maybe just the push we need to mount 1 last challenge Europe.

The fa has a golden chance to grip its authority back and get some respect. No punishment or accountability will be a huge show of weakness. I don’t want for one minute this to be the reason we make Europe but these 6 clubs made a disgraceful decision and must be made accountable.

Proud of our clubs response first and foremost. As ever we are leaders when it comes to integrity and putting the public first. However, i don’t see Fifa, UEFA or the fa really doing anything to punish these 6 teams apart from a big fine that only lines their pockets. Football has been corrupt for a long long time. The fa will never punish these 6 teams to an extent that keeps them out of Europe, let alone threaten them with relegation.

I might be completely missing something here but we still have 2 games to play against Villa before the seasons finish? I can see our fixture for them after the Arsenal game - are we still waiting for the postponed match to be scheduled?

James. On another night he has a goal and 3 assists instead of the 1. Absolute class and we have to get him on the ball. Great game by Gylfi but I’m concerned it’s going to be followed by 2/3 anonymous performances. Richarlsion should have won it at the death. Keane/Holgate unconvincing again.

Holgate was bang on to clear it if not for keanes flick on. It’s unlucky but it’s poor. If Holgate has shouted his ball then it’s on Keane 100% - if no communication then it’s probably 60/40 holagte/keane

Every time I start to come around that he might be the centre back we need little moments creep in that turn me off him. He’s been for long enough that the fact I’m not sure if he’s a solid player or not I think it’s time to look elsewhere. I generally compare our CB’s to that of Jags, Distin, Lescot ect and I don’t think Keane is on their level unfortunately.

I’d be keeping Coleman in and around the squad however. Aarons in and Godfrey to CB with a Koulibaly type signing is huge. Too many times this season I feel players have gone into the changing room with an apology for mistakes dropping points instead of a celebration for moments picking up points.

Regardless though of result, the performance in general has been excellent. Maybe we are out of europe but i hope this is the blueprint of what we might see + a couple more additions.

Huge chance... All from Allan in midfield. King needs to finish and richy has to get that on target. James though, is seeing things no one else does.

If it stays 2-2 it will feel like 2 points dropped. Such a good attacking performance thats let down by 2 horrible moments of defending.

Said before when he makes mistakes it’s nearly always punished.

What’s goal. We’ve been playing some great footy. Gylfi is Everton. Absolute quality one moment and so average the next.
