eto has so much skill - great to watch.

our poor start this season is 100% on us. unforced errors. as tenacious said - cut those out and we win alot more than we lose.

just need to weather this little mini storm. i think if we can score another one soon, they'll be deflated.

lukaku is a big and strong player. but we never use that strength of his. we don't just send it down to him in the box on long passes. he needs to be used more like how mu uses falcao and how chelsea uses costa. send the ball down field and let him work. the one time we did it today, he got off a decent shot.

not enough class players in the midfield w/o barkley and now mirallas. just aren't deep enough there.

don't understand why howard didn't just kick it out when he ran all the way to the corner. the 2nd goal is 100% on him.

since we haven't started with the best record in bpl play...we have to look at the Europa cup as one avenue into the champions league. we need to win this one.

right now, lukaku needs someone to set him up or he needs to breakaway and we have to play the long pass. he played on the right yesterday which forces him to become a creator - which he is not that great at right now. if you play him in the middle and just let him crash, he will look much better. he's never going to be a class footsman, but he can score when we are attacking and he's the recipient, not the initiator.

i am a new everton fan...and soccer fan in general. i've watched world cup over the years and have watched a few mls games here and there over the past 20 years. (i am 40 years old).

but i am a sports fan so even tho i don't know all the strategies and such...i can tell how a team functions, energy, etc. and it really was clear that rom wasn't ready to be out there and i think he only played b/c of ross' injury. and then our energy was basically zero in the 2nd half. if we played with any of the same effort in the first half, we probably win 3-1 or possibly even 4-1. a bit concerning was all the long passes we couldn't defend. our defenders looked so small. i fear that every single point will count this season so losing out 2 points now will mean we have to get a surprise win on the road somewhere this season to balance it out.
