  1. Fat Sam Little Fat Sam and if need be Big Dunc leave town in May and we can start again.
  2. Basically a Bolton manager at a top six football club. I feel for those fans who travelled down.
  3. To be fair Rhino might as well stick around. Boys pen may ring him again shortly.
  4. Kenwright, followed by Shakespere and Walsh, with room in the van for Fat Sam and Lee. Centre Backs, left back sadly and Forward line urgently with Schind being suspended from the upper Gladwys.
  5. Good for you! Some of the things I said and did as a schoolboy and up into my twenties are cringe-worthy now.and I do not just mean the Bob Latchford perm.
  6. Right hand side looked pretty woeful to be honest. McCarthy gave us some bite but Allardyce will now know that we have a deep squad with little strength.
  7. Even though I have been fortunate enough to see the toffeemen win trophies for me it was 1977/78 the year we finished 4th with Thomas and the Latch causing havoc. 15 years of age and from St Helens to Goodison and in the paddock or park end it seemed cheap as chips "peoples game" at that time.
  8. For the goal alone Siggy. Kenny tries hard I can see that, the rest heaven help us! Jags "gone" Baines "gone" Williams and Keane never even been! Central midfield oh no they are not! Mirallas/Lennon just not good enough and DCL is a championship striker "may come in handy" Pickford is at least keeping his hand in.
  9. Unsy and Ebrell way out of their depth and a disconnect with Dunc seems evident. We need a decision by Tuesday close of play on a new man to make some sense of this mess.
  10. Time to go Bill. I do believe your heart is in the right place but the show now needs to come to an end and you have done well out of it. Let the newbies stand or fall whilst spending their cash.
  11. I really feel for the travelling fans, that is as bad as it gets. Boys pen Bill its time to walk away you are and have been a part of the problem and you have not given us a solution despite plenty of opportunities.
  12. West Wright Labone Ratcliffe Van Den Hawe Steven Ball Harvey Sheedy Sharp Gray
  13. Roberto is lucky times have changed, in 1981 Howard was nearly hung for less. And as for Harry at Blackpool.
  14. I do not think we will go down. However Roberto needs to wise up a touch, I feel the players think he is a soft touch (Roy Evans) springs to mind. I have always been dismissive of Kenwright but the cash has been splashed to an extent and we are going backwards. Jags is not captain material and it is hard to see one who is. Howard perhaps? it just seems a very soft underbelly with a lack of spirit. Oh for an Andy Gray.
  15. Worst Everton player since Bret Angel is Mr McGeady.
  16. McGeady really has not worked out. I think we should be looking to get a swap of some sort for him. However good to see us come back against a bloody good team.
  17. When Bally came back from that world cup he was never the same for Everton, Tommy Wright was as good as finished by injuries and Newton and Labs had reached the stage with Westy when it was coming to an end, all too quickly after the glorious football of the previous two years, not seen again until 84/85, although the class of 77 came close.
  18. Martinez has quite a different philosophy from Gordon Lee, I remember a 4 - 4 draw against Newcastle a cracking match and Gordon saying only a fool would have enjoyed that. It is a balance and Roberto needs to realise this is a big club and skirting relegation will not match football doctrines.
  19. 1. Latchford 2. Sharp 3. Royle 4. Lineker 5. Gray 6. Eastoe
