Looks like this is happening, and while I don't mind the player I can't say I'm happy about this deal. 30m. Ugh. Why wouldn't we just be in for the Lyon winger? One third of the price, perhaps a bit more of a risk in terms of quality but doesn't seem far off from Bolasie to be honest.

Like this 5, actually.. Know that Lennon, Bolasie and this Ghezzal guy are straightforward wingers.. Could perhaps find some flexibility with Gerry / Mirallas in the middle?

I like that he gives us an option to play with two up top. Koeman OBV not being so rigid tactically, so I think getting a second class attacker is a no brainer whether Rom goes or not.

Yes from me, then bring on martins indi. Real attachment to him but if moyes puts up a real offer it'd be hard to turn down.

He backing up with Williams in town or what? I actually like the idea of mori playing alongside Williams.. Williams will keep him in check and hopefully grow him mentally, but funes mori can offer some passing out of the back alongside Williams no nonsense attitude.

Yup, strange move that it took stones transfer first. If we have 100m to throw around just get it done? Assuming the original 100m is true, we should see some real activity now. Pocket 30m from stones deal and Pogba move being done. Hopefully get some creativity next.

I mean, we don't need to act like Wenger, but we don't need to overspend just because we can, either.. I'd say 24m is a bit high for him, but I wouldnt be totally put off if thats what went through. Absolute no at 30, though.

Yup.. Only like this deal if Bony is meant to be our second striker / provide the option to go with two up top. If Rom goes, we'll still need to sign a proper striker.

I don't mind the set up on paper actually.. Allow Baines and Coleman to get themselves forward and regain some of the form the ylost last season, hopefully.

This is true this year, but with their transfer activity and history I'm sure players feel more confident that they'll consistently be in Euro consideration than they do coming here.

So it comes down to what's more important to him - the terms or Euro play? Fingers crossed it's the former.

Nearly doubling the last rejected offer seems drastic though, no? I can't see us offering 37m for him even tho he's class for sure. Just seems like an overpay.
