  1. There you go there’s always a silver lining if you wait long enough.
  2. Never mind Big Dunc PeteO has re-emerged.
  3. Didn’t understand the first bit but definitely agree with the last bit.
  4. You won’t win anything with youngsters. Famous last words
  5. Agreed 10th is just building your expectations up and heaping pressure on Lampard, we are at rock bottom let’s keep sensible and realistic there’s a lot of work to do with this squad repairing the damage of the last 7 years, thanks to our illustrious owner and his flock.
  6. So who cares? It’s not going to be removed so like all of us learn to live with it
  7. For me Monaco has had its day as a race course it doesn’t work in this day and age, to call it boring today would be an understatement, please no more of this shit it’s not entertainment
  8. Personally I feel our Achilles heel has been our defence in the last few seasons, Ancelotti got fairly lucky that Mina nearly played a majority of the season which was a massive plus for his defensive plan. I can’t see any positivity in keeping Holgate, him Keane, Godfrey and Coleman have formed one of the worst defence's in the league for a few years, only good thing this season was the emergence of Mykolenko and a couple of decent games from Mina. For me Holgate goes with Mina Keane and Godfrey if the right offers come in and Coleman becomes a back up and mentor for the younger players.
  9. Next season won’t be anything special it’s going to be a very tough campaign, one of rebuilding from bottom to top. I’m not expecting an instant turnaround far from it to much to do, 14th will be a good result anything beyond that would be excellent.
  10. Don’t hold your breath.
  11. He’s no better than what we have, and no leader we need a strong CB with a big voice.
  12. Who knows mate, I would hope money being equal he would see us being the better option, I know I would
  13. Don’t beat about the bush Matt just say it as it really is
  14. Wtf that is unbelievable I can’t comprehend the enormity of what you have posted, I’m totally gobsmacked that should be displayed just like that on media platforms in the hope it wakes up those who favour the right to bear arms into acknowledging there is a need for restraints in the gun laws in America.
  15. People did criticise others for what was said about DCL when the news broke about his issues, I was thinking you was going the same way with your post if not apologies, but for the record I sympathise with anyone who has debilitating mental issues, yet I’m not prepared to have them used as an excuse for bad performances if you are in such a place where you can’t function properly then you shouldn’t be playing. As a supporter I have expectations of what I want to see from a player and a team, and if my expectations aren’t met I’m going to criticise and look for reasons why they have performed like they did, but I’m not looking for fitness issues no player should be asked to play if their fitness means they can’t perform. In his interview after the game with Keane he was asked about his catwalk role, is this part of his life now defining him more of a person than as a football player, who knows but it shouldn’t be his main priority should be football.
  16. I can’t believe Republicans are so against curbing guns in America don’t they have children that go to school.
  17. Was it really good, just good, or just average.
  18. That’s the product of drinking red wine from the fridge.
  19. Pressure’s from all things in life can effect how you function. But let’s get some perspective on this how many players have you criticised in the past, and before doing so did you stop and consider before making your post I wonder if they have mental health issues, no you didn’t. The club would have known of his problems and wouldn’t of played him if he wasn’t mentally right and if he plays poorly like every player in the team we should have the right to critique him with out having to consider his state of mind.
  20. He’s going if we can off load him, abroad or possibly Championship no one in the PL would be silly enough to take him.
  21. I bet you did mate and with all that money you got I expect you now own an entire village in Turkey
  22. I would think the same in all fairness, yet as supporters we are unaware of his issues of mental health, so we judge him on what we see in front of us, he hasn’t nor the club blamed his mental fitness for his poor performances which I hope means he never had to play when his head wasn’t were it needed to be, that would have been wrong for him the team and the supporters, I have criticised his performances and I don’t feel any guilt about doing so as a player he was underperforming, now he has openly spoken about his problems we are all supportive of him as we would anyone who has heath issues, but that shouldn’t deter us from saying he’s playing shit when he’s playing shit, as we should be saying he’s played well when he’s played well. The Palace game showed he is turning the corner as a player and long may that be the case whilst he’s playing for Everton.
  23. Does anyone believe that his health issues have been caused by the pressure of football, or something away from football. I would like to think that playing football is the most therapeutic thing in his life the thing that takes him out of his bad space, has his injuries and long layoff been the catalyst for his mental health issues I never heard of any problems of this last season. As a fan who contributes to the coffers of the club I want to be able to critique a player concerning his ability on the pitch whether good or bad, what I don’t want is people lambasting me because I’ve criticised a player who has mental health issues, if he’s deemed fit to play then we shouldn’t be expected to keep quite when he’s having a complete nightmare, and I would hope no players would hide from bad performances behind mental health issues you should only play when you are mentally fit and prepared to play.
