  3. They'll only have one deduction I think. The other one will apply when/if they go back down.
  4. Everton are looking to complete only their second league double over Brentford, previously doing so in the 1952-53 second division. None of the 10 league meetings between Everton and Brentford at Goodison Park have ended in a draw, with the Toffees winning seven of these to the Bees' three. Brentford have won their past two Premier League games, as many as they had in their previous 18 combined. They last won three in a row in October and November. Bryan Mbeumo has been involved in nine goals in his past 10 Premier League starts (four goals, five assists), while Brentford have won 39% of their league games when the Cameroon international has started this season, compared to 12.5% when he has not. Brentford's Yoane Wissa has scored five goals in his past five Premier League away games, as many as he had in his previous 29 appearances on the road in the competition.
  5. We've won as many games as Brighton this season by the way. Just putting that out there.
  6. Could you imagine if that was the side effect of anything. Terrifying .
  7. There's going to be a lot of fun to be had when they hire Arse Slot as their new manager.
  8. I've not had the vax (so obviously no boosters either) but I'd never tell anyone else not to get it. It's all personal choice as far as I'm concerned because the only person you could possibly harm by not getting it was yourself (despite that little fib getting pushed in the early days of the virus).
  9. Matt Hughes is out of a job at the Daily Fail. Shame.
  10. Brentford are nothing to fear and never have been. Go out there and give everything, that's all I ask. If we get the result then great but I just want another committed performance.
  11. I’ve been looking forward to this.
  12. You expanded on my shorter post perfectly.
  13. I'd much rather he was our manager next season than not. The following season is another question. Things don't look like they're going to be any easier for us next season (in terms of off field stuff) so I'd prefer to keep the stability going. We absolutely cannot get relegated any time soon and he's the safest option to make that a reality. That doesn't mean he's a guarantee but I think it's too risky to get shut in the summer.
  14. I really hope he finishes his playing career with us.
  15. I keep expecting his legs to fall off but it just does not look like happening. It seems he really loves it here too. He was singing along with the fans as he went down the tunnel last night.
  16. I really hope we give him another year. Finances are obviously going to be tight for the foreseeable so it would make sense.

  18. Fair enough, I didn't do the research. It was just what I'd seen on Twitter. Wolves have denied it's their players.
  19. What a prick trying to steal Branthwaite's goal though, eh?
